Fullmoonsagashite offered a suggestion to talk about the actual series. That's logical and I should have thought about it. Good job!!! 3nodding
Now, let's talk about it. For first idea, I was wondering. Which one was better, the movie idea that L catches Kira, or the manga that Near catches Kira? Personally, I like the Movie better. They basically just split L into two less likable characters. Any thoughts?

Casual? Hmmmmm..., I suppose I do. I am casual but the way I write, the way I talk, and the way I think are different online than in real situations. I think matt personally was "real". He knew who he was and was kind of sarcastic. I have a friend like that.

Chatspeak? There is a reason I type like this. There is a psychological theory that by roleplaying, you can empathize with characters more. There is another theory that states language controls thoughts. Taking this into consideration I talk like this to increase my collective, articulated thoughts. I could talk normally, like I can't believe that L died. He was an amazing character! He was too cool to die. Kira sucks for killing him, but that that doesn't help me to become the Evan I want to be online. In life, I'm kinda normal.

Lol. Nice explanation (no sarcasm there). And you're welcome for the idea.
I like the movie version... although I never passed the first few volumes of the manga. I think I read 3 or 4 volumes and I stopped. With manga, where the story is mostly played/showed in your mind in contrast to a movie where things are being played in front of you, it feels like I'm sympathizing more with the characters. Thus, I don't really like manga with a really dark and serious atmosphere. It kind of gets suffocating.... *Sorry, I'm weird.* I like at least a touch of comedy in every story that I read. My cousin, on the other hand, really likes death note even though she's technically too young to be reading it. I'm scared for her. My uncle just said that it's ok as long as she's READING SOMETHING. Lol. I should be getting her something like 'Anne of Green Gables'. xd

I haven't yet seen the movie. I am very pi**ed off at this. I heard it's better than the manga and anime, and I can't find it anywhere but Ebay. Mom will not by off Ebay. Any suggestions?
Fullmoon: Why is a young child reading DN? Next thing your uncle knows, she'll think killing is righteous sacrifiction or something of that nature! I am concered for her well being.

Youtube is GREAT, but she has it........blocked. And I can break past the security wall, but not without tipping her virus detector stuff off. I'll have to get on something close to youtube.

Just type in Watch DeathNote movie And a ton of sights will pop up. Of course, I think they show it on the deathnote website.
