Okay, so about four days ago, I played a ton of free games with a guy at school. Some decks were standard, others were legacy, and in general, I was rockin. I won a bunch, but the one game I lost was the one that I was amazed at, as I just got trumped.

Since it was a short game, I'll go turn by turn.
I was playing my Bant Deck (in the deck post if you wish to see), and I have no clue as to what to call his other than Progenitus.

First turn went to me, I played a plains and summoned Akrasan Squire.

His first turn consited of a Terramorphic Expanse, which he used to fetch a forest.

My next turn, I played Seaside Citadel and attacked with my Squire for two, which he took.

His second turn, he played an Island as well and summoned Bloom Tender.

My third turn, I played an Island and Ardent Plea, revealed Hindering Light, and did not play it. I attack with Squire for three, which he took again.

His third turn, he played a Misty Rainforest, and summoned another Bloom Tender.

Turn four, I played another Island, and another Ardent Plea, this time getting Qasali Pridemage. I attacked for five, which he took. He also paid one life for the Misty Rainforest and got another Island.

His turn four, he played a Plains, summoned Transguild Courier, tapped both Bloom Tenders, and summoned Progenitus. I did however destroy his Courier with my Pridemage's ability.

Turn five for me, I played a Plains, summoned another Pridemage, and Giltspire Avenger. I attacked with my Squire for my last six damage.

His turn five, he played Maestrom Nexus, played a Darksteel Ingot, and got another Bloom Tender from Cascade. He attacked with Progenitus, I was forced to take ten.

My turn six was a desperate attempt to take out his last three life, I went all out but with three creatures to block me, I didn't stand a chance.

His turn six consisted of attacking me for my last ten.

I was amazed at how quickly he had fourteen mana to his disposal, and after his maelstrom nexus, he had twenty for turn six. Even though I lost, I was in awe at the decks potential, and hope to get some ideas from it.

Mine was in multiplayer last weekend. I was playing a three way. My one friend was playing his EDH for no apparent reason (R/W/U), and I was running my Warp World (G/R). The other friend had a completely tricked out land destruction deck. By turn three, he had gotten rid of every land his other opponent and I had played, and could take out anything we plopped down in an instant (limiting us to each one mana...which was not good news for a deck that really wants to have 8 ). It still took him another four or so turns to kill us, but I considered the game over by turn three.
