Daemon took a pokeball from his belt, "A Grass gym..." He smiled, "Alright, Staravia, lets go!" The bird appeared in the air in front of its trainer, "Alright, lets start off with a Quick attack."
Staravia hurled itself towards the Cherubi.

"When it gets close use Leech Seed, my beloved Cherubi!" Gardenia called out to her plant-type Pokemon.
It started to swish something back and forth between its cheeks, and and soon as the Staravia was in point-blank range, spit the Leech Seed right at him.

Daemon looked at the opponent's pokemon, "Boost wing attack with your quick attack." A trademark move of his staravia, the quick attack's momentum boosted the attack power of his wing attack.

Cherubi spat out the Leech Seed, which attached onto the enemy Pokemon's back before getting hit by the devastating Wing Attack. The Cherubi fainted after falling back. Gardenia withdrew her Cherubi. "Hmph, its not over yet!"
"Go Turtwig!" She called out as he tough little turtle came out of her pokeball. "Don't underestimate Grass-Pokemon!"

Staravia Gained 190 xp. Staravia grew to Lv 20!
Demon exhaled, "Of course not." He returned Staravia so it wouldn't lose any more hit points, "Go Psyduck!" He motioned towards the Gym leader, "Alright, round two. I'll give you a handicap."

"Smart move... but don't you think your underestimating me too much..." As she finished her sentence the Turtwig used Razor Leaf and sent a dozen leaves flying towards Psyduck.

Daemon had provoked her for this exact reason, "Psyduck, shoot them down with watergun, then use disable." The leaves were shot down as Psyduck's eyes flashed and Turtwig found itself unable to use the attack again.

"Disable? You used it on the wrong move... Turtwig use Grass Knot!" The Turtwig seemed to do nothing. However the grass around Psyduck started to move on its own, it started to tangle around Psyduck's feet. It kept growing, constricting around the Psyduck.

(Grass knot does damage based on the weight of the pokemon it is used on. In that sense, it would do far more damage to an onix than a Psyduck... Razor leaf would have done far more)
Daemon put a hand on his hip, "Psyduck, Confusion on the vines." The vines were halted by psychich power and flung to the side as Psyduck jumped back out of the way, "Nice, now use watergun on Turtwig."

((Yea I know, its going to do a base of about 35 damage to Psyduck's 40lbs, but I'm using the constricting factor in ensnaring the opponent))
Psyduck's attack ripped the grass to shreds, however as Psyduck jumped back, the grass on the ground at Psyduck's feet began to start crawling up its legs once again. Turtwig was ready to move in case the attack was fired but it was sure that his attack would succeed until his first attack can be used once again.

Daemon thought a moment as the grass just began to claw at him, "Use water gun to get up in the air!" Psyduck shot a powerful stream of water at the ground and soared up into the air, "Now use confusion on Turtwig."
Now that psyduck was clear of the ground and out of the way of Grass Knot, it could attack freely. The psychic energy assailed Turtwig.

((Disable fades away after a few rounds, so Im gonna get my laser attack back))
The Turtwig stands strong and takes the attack head-on, taking some damage. It then subconsciously fired a few of his Razor Leafs at the Psyduck who was in mid-air. "Oh! You can use Razor Leaf again?!? Good, fire away!"

Daemon watched the razor leaf attack fired, "Use watergun to knock them away." Psyduck descended after its path was and landed on the Turtwig as Daemon had planned, "Now disable again!" Razor leaf was ineffective once more. Now grass knot couldn't affect psyduck without affecting Turtwig as well!
