crying I hate all these holidays that pop out of nowhere and are like "heyyyyy, have you gotten your mom/dad a gift/card yet?" and I'm all "oh.. it's that time already, huh.."
So.. I guess I'll go and find a cheesy card and sign it and send it.
I live over a thousand miles away and am broke, so can't do much. But hell, I visited her for her birthday. xd

Mother's Day is easy for me to remember as it falls on my birthday every few years or so. xd Don't know what I'm gonna do for my momma, maybe try to make her a shawl or something nice like that.

I started the shawl, but I have to frog it since it's not working out. It all works out however, as I'm using worsted weight so it should work up quickly. I decided on a pink yarn since that's her favorite color (I swear most of the women I know either have pink or purple as their favorite color, I'm weird since mine is red lol). I hope she'll like it, but I'm sure she will since she likes anything I make for her.

i might get her one of those plant-your-own-herbs sets. she has bay leaves now, so maybe thyme? or lavender?

i think she might come down to celebrate with her sister and my cousin (also a mother). if she dosent though, i'll call and send a card. i'll be up to visit her the 4th of july anyway......for her wedding burning_eyes

Every Year we get together and have a Hike in the forest and Meditate for a few hours. Take in nature and then bring some materials home and make dolls and things to add them to the Mother daughter collection.

My mothers favorite color is pink because of Breast Cancer.
But I like Black, White, and Red occasionally.

We live across the country from each other now. emo On the bright side, she always gets me beeswax candles and a new coffee mug for Mother's day. 4laugh are you a mother too?
