i agree with james the western dragon is the better of the two at lest in my eyes anyway. they are actually what i think a dragon would look like. i mean ya the eastern dragons are awsome since well their dragons but like james said the look alot like snakes. not tha ti hate snakes but for some reason i just can't imagen a snake as a dragon.

~Blinks and takes a deep breath~ Western dragons have traditionally been a symbol of evil. A typical Western dragon can fly and breathe fire. Many legends describe dragons as greedy, keeping hordes of gold and other precious treasure. In myths and folklore, dragons were monsters to be conquered. As dragons may be seen to represent the dark side of humanity, including greed, lust, and violence, the conquest of a dragon represents the confrontation and extinguishment of those evil instincts.
The dragon has also been used as a symbol of war. The Viking longship, also called a drakkar or dragon ship, was used to transport Viking warriors on their raids across Europe. Often, sea-going dragon ships would have a dragon head mounted at its stern to ward off sea serpents and evil spirits.
on the other hand the Chinese dragon is a symbol of wisdom, power, and luck in Chinese culture. Unlike western dragons, oriental dragons are usually seen as benevolent and kind. Dragons have long been a symbol in Chinese folklore and art. Temples and shrines have been built to honor them. Chinese dragons control the rain, rivers, lakes, and sea. They can ward off wandering evil spirits, protect the innocent, and bestow safety unto all. They are called lung or long in the Chinese language.
going off this its a matter of wich you bleave more in what one you like more I like the Eastern ideas more then the Western but yes i like the Western Dragon looks more then then Eastern

Nathair you are very smart about dragons and for that reason i am very proud to have you in my guild. The myths do work in the westerns dragons faver too. I would not say even half the dragons were evil (only because im sure I love dragons so much but that isn't the only reason). the chines were smart and relized dragons for what they were very true. But unfortunatly the western dragon didnt have it so lucky for the western dragons were hunted not because it was evil at first but because man thought it cool to be one of the only ones that have fought and kill a dragon and they belived it would make other men fear them witch it did. That is why im sure the dragons were decide evil after I'm sure they burnt down citys and killed pretty ladys I would to if someone had killed my family for such vanity. and that is my thoughts XD

Io created a pair of children, male and female he created them: Bahamut and Tiamat were their names. Io intended them to grow up and mate, producing children that combined the best traits of each. Instead, the two were immediate rivals, yet Io would not choose a favorite between them. After many failed schemes to make herself look better and Bahamut worse, Tiamat hatched a diabolical plan: she slew her sister Vorel and framed Bahamut for the awful deed. Io, however, carefully sought out the truth, and sorrowfully banished his daughter Tiamat from his presence. Tiamat turned utterly to hatred and Evil, while her brother Bahamut, ever her rival, turned to Good in order to oppose her. So it was that Io lost three of his children: the first to death, the second to Evil, and the last to Good.
It is from this storey that Bahamut became the Dragon god of all the good dragons or Metallic dragons were Tiamat became the godess of the eveil dragons or Chromatic dragons of corse not all dragons fall under this and some Metallic could of followed Tiamat and some Chromatic could of followed Bahamut
