Sooo I found out I'm going to Israel this summer which I know is a SUPER strict airline, even before 9/11 and I don't want to bring knitting or crochet because yarn takes up a lot of space and the knitting needles may be a no go for Israel anyway. I want to bring my cross stitching I was wondering if anyone has ever gone on any international flights and brought any craft projects. I read that small scissors are okay for US flights (I'm going to NYC first) but I may get one of those thread cutters that looks like a pendent. Not sure about the tiny needle though. Any thoughts????

I've heard of people taking their crocheting on flights. You should call the airline or look up their guidelines online. If you take something to crochet, bring a plastic needle, that may seem less intimidating and wouldn't show up in a bag x-ray. xD
