The ammount of HP your Pokemon has depends on it's level, it would be double, rounding down to the nearest x0. Everything under level 10 will have 20 HP.
Examples:
So if you have a level 33 Pokemon, it will have 60 HP.
If you have a level 90 Pokemon it will have 180 HP.
If you have a level 5 Pokemon it will have 20 HP.
----------------------------
DAMAGE DEALING ATTACKS: THe max power of your attack will be determind by the level in which the attack is learned (For the sake of the staff, this will be dertermined by Serebii.nets or bulbapedia's most current dex). So if you learn flame thrower at level 40, it will do 40 damage max (crtical hits and misses will be delt with later)
The ammount TM's will do will be determind in a special thread in the Pokedex forum.
This only applies to damage dealing attacks,For example if your pokemon learns thunder wave at level 40, it won't do 40 damage, just the effect.
If your Pokemon has a type advantage against the other Pokemon, add 10 to your damage. If it has a resistance, reduce your attack by 20. *Would like some feedback on the resistance reduction*
-----------------------------
Status Affects
A Pokemon can only be affected by one status affect each battle.
Lowering accuracy: If a Pokemon uses a lowering accurcy attack, the opposing Pokemon must randomize a number between 1 and 4. If it comes out a 1 or a 2, their next attack will miss. The Max a Pokemon can miss in a battle is 2, so if the other trainer already has two misses in it's lineup, accuracy reducing attacks won't have any effect.
Posion: The other Pokemon will suffer 10HP damage between rounds (not between turns).
Paralysis: The other Pokemon will deal -10 damage while they are paralyzed.
Sleep: If the other Pokemon has misses in it's lineup that have yet to be used, they will be forced concecutively until they are used up. So if your opponent has 2 misses they are holding out on using during round 2 and sleep works, they will be forced to use them during round 3 and 4.
-----------------------------
ITEMS
-Held items can be used, as long as it is stated what items each Pokemon is holding in each trainers first Post.
-Only one healing/statue releaving item from your backpack can be used per battle.
-Held Berries are the exception and won't count towards your one item used. If your Pokemon is holding a berry that heals 10 HP for example, as soon as your Pokemon has taken 10 HP worth of damage it will eat it. If it heals posion, as soon as your Pokemon gets poison it will heal itself next turn.
-Potion that restores HP CANNOT be used during turn 5.
-A Status healing item can be used at any point.
-----------------------------
BATTLING: Each battle will have 5 turns max.
Begin by rolling 5, 6-sided dice. This will determind how the battle will play out. This will be called your "lineup".
5-6: Crtical Hit- add 10 to your Pokemons attack. If your Pokemon is at level 100, then add another 10.
2-4: Normal damage.
1: Attack Misses.(If you roll more than two 1's, they will atomatically count as 2's.)
Lets say your lineup is "2, 4, 1, 5, 1"
The trainers will be allowed to deal with what they've drawn in what order they like (They can either get their misses over with on their first turn, or leave them 'till the end in hopes to finish the battle off quickly.
One might think that the second option would be too easy to take advantage of and relies too heavily on the randomizer, but..
Did I mention you get dodges?
You get 2 dodges per battle, and when you use them is up to you. It adds an element of stratagy to battling.
The battle ends either when one Pokemon Faint, or your 5 turns are up. If both Pokemon are still standing, the pokemon with the most HP left wins. If there is a tie, it will be determind by who will attack next.
------------------------------------
SPECIAL BATTLE STUFF
Level 100 Pokemon get a +20 normal attack Boost, and if they land a critical they add another 20 ontop of that.
Level 100's also get a an extra 50 HP
Level 75's-99 get a +10 normal attack boost, and an extra 20 HP.
Light Pokemon will reduce their oppents attack by 20.
Light Pokemon will get a 20 HP boost.
Dark Pokemon will deal an extra 20.
Dark Pokemon can only miss a maximum of once per battle.
------------------------------------
THINGS THAT MEAN NOTHING HERE (For the sake of simplicity)
-Attack/special attack.
-obsure moves. They Will just have to be delt with as they come up
-only being able to use 4 attacks- screw that shat.
-Confusion. There's no good way to deal with this in a 5 round battle so it's being pulled all together.
-Any other loopholes you crazy peoples can come up with! JK if there is anything obvious I've missed please point it out to meee. C:
