Alot of people have been asking me the same question:

"How do I connect to Wii online without a wireless router?"

Well, the answer is very simple.

To use the Nintendo LAN Adapter.

This is a product that basically turns one of the USB ports on the back of your Wii into an ethernet port. Then you take a standard ethernet cable and connect one end to your wired router or modem and the other end into the LAN Adapter.

~Advantages~

-Smooth Online Play.
-Faster Downloads.
-Decreases loading times when using the Internet Browser Channel.

~Disadvantages~

-Wii and Router/Modem may need to be in the same room.
-Very long ethernet cable may be required if Wii and Router/Modem aren't in the same room.
