So far two episodes released. ** I'm suprised that Yuri's living past was revealed this fast, but for the feel of the show it seemed a bit too heavy. ** But for the emotional feel of it, I think it works.
So far though I do like the feel of the show, but the fact knowing that no one can actually "die" since you're already dead kinda cheapens it a little, but since there seems to be a way to be erased it still leaves a threat.
One of the big differences I noticed in this show from the other Key/Visual Arts shows is that the guys outnumber the girls in the cast (so far at least). For now again, another big difference is that the focus isn't the 'Sad girl in snow,' 'Sad girl in sky,' or 'Fragile girl in doubt' kinda thing, but 'Fight against God' in it's own way, but it's done in a high school setting, which seems to be a staple in their line of shows.

I'm starting to like it. I watched 4 episodes so far. I like the setting, comedy-like reference, and the characters have a good personality. I don't remember all of their names yet but I was a little, "WOW, a high school girl holding a gun at the beginning of the series and when they said you're already dead and you're in the "afterlife". All I can say is that I have high hopes for Angel Beats.

So far, this is the only chapter translated in the light novel series. It was kind of an obvious guess, but it shows who joins Yuri first in her crusade against God.

i think it's hilarious that Takamatsu and TK are the strongest two though i am still wondering what the hell is up with TK
