Pocahontas was sitting in one of the tress outside of her village, looking out into the horizon. She sighed and brought her knees to her chest. "I wish things were different.." She looked up, piercing chocolate-brown eyes looking into the distance. "But it never will be."

((hey! what's this about? you might want to be a little more specific! it makes it hard for the rest of us to know how we can jump in! Feel free to join in on Fairytales? As if.. We still need a Pocahontas :] ))
Grandmother willow grumbled. She could barely hear her granddaughter who was sitting on her top branches.
"What are you doing up there!?"

OOC: sorry sweatdrop not really sure how this guild works with the r/p's. in my guild we just start a roleplay in a certain area (the title usually says where) and we put in our character-at one point all the characters meet up and yeahh. sweatdrop sorry
Pocahontas' eyes went wide as she looked down and chuckled, getting down from the branches. "Sorry Grandmother Willow." She looked up at her and bowed. "I didn't know I was sitting in your branches."

((it's fine! don't worry about it! you can do that if you want, but how we normally do it is we have a big first post talking about what the OP wants to happen in the story, then the next post has the profiles of the characters. It helps eliminate confusion and helps keep the thread going. we're pretty easy going, it's not really rules as much as it's easier in the long run smile ))
Grandmother willow sighed. Kids these days!
"it's fine! what were you doing up there anyways?"

OOC: mkayy then so when i get my characters (i still have to do this sweatdrop ) do I send them to you before entering an r/p or whoever started the r/p in the first place?
Pocahontas looked out towards the woods and lied. "Making sure no more trespassers were coming our way."

((oh not to me. to whoever started the thread. like whoever makes the rules and the storyline. It's easy once you get the hang of it. and you can make threads like this if you want, just know that most of us in here don't feel comfortable just jumping in. They like to have something to go on.))
Grandmother Willow eyed Pocahontas suspiciously. The girl didn't seem entirely truthful. She sighed, but neither had her mother been. She smiled at her.
"So, my child, what's the latest village gossip?"

OOC: mkayy then i'll do that well here they can jump in whenever they please :] i'll just have to make sure i do as told in the other threads sweatdrop
Pocahontas chuckled and pushed back her hair. "That Little Rock has been sneaking to the villages owned by the white man up the river to watch how they live. Some people think he's living among them."

Grandmother Willow sucked in her lips then spoke again.
"White men eh? I would like to see one of these pale faces myself."

"I've seen them but only from afar or when I have to kill them. And you know I never leave much to look at after, don't you Grandmother Willow?" Pocahontas chuckled.

Grandmother Willow shook her head. She wished her granddaughter hadn't grown so violent. She missed the carefree child she once was. She sighed. Those days were gone.
"That I know. You do a good job with them"

Pocahontas looked out into the direction of the ocean, sighing. "I wonder if there are white men who are good hearted and care for the land just like us."

Grandmother Willow sighed. She wondered that as well.
"Perhaps. There's a wind blowing. It says something..."
Grandmother Willow could smell something on the horizon.

((Mind if I jump in?))
Meeko peered out from the roots of Grandmother Willow up to Where Pocahontas was climbing. He chattered.

Pocahontas looked down and saw Meeko. "There you are." She climbed down to him and picked him up. "Why were you hiding under Grandmother Willow?"
