Shikai Ability: Nemesis controls the power of ice and darkness. She can turn the moisture in the atmosphere into black ice. This color ice is the cold imaginable. Even the slightest bit of sweat and lead to a person's demise. If there's any kind of liquid on your body, Nem can just use that engulf your entire body into a black ice figure.
In shikai, Kairi's appearance changed. Her eyes turned a crimson red and her hair turns white.

Biography Before Death: Kairi Higurashi is your average girl. She goes to highschool, has friends and a job to support herself like everyone else. Her life has been filled with sorrows and loss ever since she was a child. Her brother and sister died. As for her parents, they died before she could remember.
As a child, she was raised by her older brother Kiyo Higurashi and was taken to school by her sister Tsubaki. Yes, they were only kids, but she was the only one who went to school. Her siblings worked hard to provide for all three of them. One day when she was at school, her teacher told her that Kiyo and Tsubaki died in a car accident. This broke her heart. She was placed in a orphanage but begged to live on her own. Instead, she was sent to her grandparent's home at age 10. She ran away a year later. She started a new life and worked until she was 14. She entered Karakura High on a free scholarship given to her by the principal.
Now, 18 years old, she has her own apartment room and still lives on her own.
She was then abducted and taken to Hueco Mundo. Kairi was then left alone to wander the deserts; weak, injured and emotionally lost. Soon, her siblings and other shinigami saved her and took her to the Seireitai. She was healed by the captain of squad four but she passed on as well.

Other: Kairi can use her zanpaktou's power to heal people. But if she becomes weak, mainly during battle, or if she is pushed too hard while training, Nemesis posses her. She takes on a human-like form of her zanpaktou spirit.
