sweatdrop So . . . how do you take a screen shot?
^^ Well, it depends on what sort of computer you have. I heard that Macs have a different keyboard set-up, but generally the keyboards are all alike.
So, if you take a look at your keyboard, you have to go all the way to the
right side. Then, look to the
upper corner. So, yes, look at the
upper right corner of your keyboard. There should be some buttons (usually there are 3) and there is one that looks like "Print Screen", "Prnt Scn", or any letters that look like that. Simply have whatever you want up on the screen showing and click that button.
The Print Screen button takes a picture of the WHOLE desktop so you will have to edit it. REMEMBER: The Print Screen copies the desktop image. So if you were to take the image onto Paint, simply "Paste" it onto the program. So, let me set up the steps to creating the screenshot.
1. Have whatever you want to copy visible on the destop.
2. Press the Print Screen button to copy the desktop image.
3. Go to a program you wish to paste it to (I use Paint).
4. Paste the image.
5. Edit the image and figure out where you wish to post it. ^^
***If you don't know how to post images onto Gaia, please ask me and I can also help you with that. ^^***
NOTE: If you are using a laptop, your Print Screen button may seem like it doesn't work. On most laptops (I think all), there is a button that is called "fn". (I don't know what it stand for) Anyway, it is like the shift button in a way. On keyboards there may be other uses for the same button. So, on a laptop, you will see that the words "Print Screen" will be in small letters. YOU MUST CLICK THE "FN" BUTTON WITH THE PRINT SCREEN BUTTON IN ORDER FOR THE PRINT SCREEN TO WORK!!!
^^ Hehe. Hope it helped. If you need ANY clarification, please ask away! (I think I may make a computer forum! ^^ Thanks for the idea!)
