Olivine City is located on the Johto coast, near Ecruteak City and Cianwood City. Pokémon Trainers often come to Olivine City in order to win the Mineral Badge from Jasmine, the Olivine Gym Leader who specializes in Steel-type Pokémon. This town has many attractions such as the Olivine Cafe, the S.S. Aqua, and even the famous Glitter Lighthouse!

- Visit the Pokemart, where they even sell Good Rods for a very hefty price!
- Head on over to Route 40 to Surf your way to Cianwood City, as the Gym Leader, Jasmine is likely to be out with her frequent trips to Sunyshore.
- Upon your return, challenge Jasmine, the Olivine City gym leader!
- When you're all done, you can head back to Route 39, towards Ecruteak, so that you can reach the destination of Mahogany Town.
