It was an alternate universe.
The girl was Ushio and the robot was Tomoya.
And what I managed to understand was this:
Warm: Meaning Happiness, Joy, etc (A "Happy" place)Cold: Meaning Sadness, Despair, etc (A "Sad" place)Tomoya is depicted as a robot because of a robot's inability to "feel". And as you could see.....
They were in a "cold" world. Since Ushio was just represented by an older version of her. The "cold" slowly began to take her life away. Tomoya, being a robot, couldn't "construct" the perfect "object" (or building, I had no idea about what that thing was to be honest) to take Ushio and him to a "warmer" place.That's pretty a summary of what I believe it meant.
does anyone know what the robot and the girl meant i want to see what you all have to say..

your very good at remembering you know that the robot is really a lite right? 
yes you see if i am correct after ushio dies and he falls over in the other world the girl has fallen over to and so tomoya is trying to get them to go to the other world 
ok explain to me how you know that like who the characters are and what the other worlds about.. 
i think that its a altenrante universe u see the part when she is doing the play that is the world she is talking about..and the robot is really tomya and the girl is ushiocuz he said he felt that he new that story from somewhere...and it was him all along and at the end when they get takin to the other world he says his journy has done and that just told u that the robot is tomoya...thats all i know...GO CLANNAD BEST ANIME EVER!!!!
