Just as the number of Planes are infinite, so are the ideas and contributions we can make towards the guild. So here are a few that sound good, but at least need a second opinion, or the creation of a system is needed.
A way to play - Right now, the only thing I can think of where we could play online are trust based games. It's a way to play, but we don't want to have anybody to be called a cheater within the guild, and with no way of telling whether or not cheating occured, I'd advise against this method. Any suggestions on other ways we can get some games in?
A training subforum - What about those who are interested in learning to play? Or those who don't know some of the other rulings of the game? With a training subforum, we can do this. The only concern I have, how many of our members will truely need a subforum like this? We can, I have plenty of resources to use if it sounds like something worthwhile, but I would like to hear from some of our members before dictating the decision.

Well the do have applications for online play that don't cost anything. Apprentice and Magic Work Station being the ones I know of. Also if anybody has a MtGO account they can set up duels there.
On the training sub, you can make a Sticky with links to the FAQ and basic Rules, as well as have threads for questions and tips for newer players. Depending on who you get in the guild, you can even break it down to discussions on Vintage, Legacy, Extended, Standard, Limited, Block, THG, etc......
also, holy hell... I'm a crew member gonk That's what I get for being prompt blaugh

Not to mention active. I haven't heard of those applications yet, I'll check them out. Thanks.
Also, I was think the same thing with the links and all, but having discussions about some of the rules and such is something that sounds like it would make it more worth the funds. Okay like the input, I'll get to work on those as soon as I can (in class technically, but meh)

Here's an idea, instead of donating money straight to the guild itself where it can only used to create subforum's you should create like a mule or something to hold the guild funds. That way they can be used for either making new subforums when needed or using them for prizes for duels if we are able to get those set up online, or we could use the money to even hold events and such.

Right before I read this, I was thinking exactly the same thing. I'll make an announcement later.

i guess this could be put under Training, but how about a place where people can put intersting Combo's or ideas? not full decks but just like 2 or 3 card combos...
also maybe a place where we can gloat about our recent victories lol

Yeah, those sound great! The combos should definitly go under Training though, but be sure that when you post it, you explain why it's a good combo and any potential threats for it to be a good combo. I'll post something up as an example soon.
I will also be making a Sub-Forum for Victory/Loss Discussion.

...ok i had an idea but when i hit "post" i lost it...wait i have it again...nope that idea was stupid...
ok here's an idea, not really a subfourm idea, but would it be ok for us to have fourms under Training were we can discuss the new ablities.
IE: a fourm to talk about Totem Armor, or Annihilator and whatnot?

The only good flash game that's close to MTG is Elements. http://www.elementsthegame.com/Downloadable games I know of Magic Workshop, Apprentice, and MTG Online. And Duels of the Planeswalkers, of course.
