Okay, here's the thing. Ever since I've became a vampire, I've been wanting to find someone to be my fledgling. You know, bite a normal person and make them a vampire. Is this weird sound strange?

I can help you in the case of the former. The latter, not so much since IRL I don't belong to an actual coven and I'm not a Vampyre Lifestyler.
But here, it's easy. *chuckles*
As to your actual question of it being weird or not, I'm of the firm belief that it isn't my place to judge people. Hell, all of us here in VAMP are weird to Twitards because we don't believe in the sparklefags. We're weird to most of Gaia because we take roleplaying as vampires to another level completely.
To a Vampyre Lifestyler or a vampire roleplayer, seeking a fledgling is probably pretty normal. To everyone else, it's probably weird as hell.
That help ease your concerns at all?
