I like RPing, so if you are interested in RPing with me, then feel free to PM or comment me. I'm open to all kinds of plots too. Also, if we are currently RPing with eachother and I'm online, but not replying, it's most likely because I missed the tag, didn't check the RP thread, or got distracted by the shiny. Feel free to comment or PM me then too.

Backstory___
Daniel Thaddeus Inverlocken LXXXIV was a half-decent mage. By that, I mean, while he wasn't the worst by a long short, he most certainly was not the best. Save for math, woodworking, and basket weaving, his grades at the Durem University of Gaiamancy - go, DUG, go! - were average at best.
During his graduate studies, however, he discovered he had a knack for teleportation magic. His thesis was on the subject and after graduation, he decided this was what he wanted to go into.
After years of training in the caves of Durem and battling Ghi imbued grizzly bears in Barton, he was able to develop a spell that'd allow him to traverse worlds. Curious about its applications, he decided to cast it, while making a nameplate. It resulted in a lock and key. Naturally, he was suspicious, since he couldn't figure out how a metal lock and key could result from a soldering iron and a plank of basswood. Then again, magic always did have a way of mussing things up.
He decided to see what would happen if he stuck the key in the lock.
This was the second least wise decision he had ever made. The first being the time he accepted a wedding invitation from gypsies - by gypsies, I mean Nicolae's people - and ended up having to avoid breaking public indecency laws on his way home.
When he did so, he found himself in a different world populated by these locks and keys. It was then that he realized that he didn't make anything, merely summoned it.
His family never saw him again.
Another time, another place, Susan Lenox Fossey - called Sue - and her brother, Daniel Thaddeus Inverlocken LXXXVI - called Danny - wondered what to do with the lock and key willed to them by their father. Their father's note read, "Dear Sue and Danny, your uncle - my brother - gave these to me before his accident. I kept them for sentimental value, but I never could figure out what they were for. Maybe you can? Love, Daniel Thaddeus Inverlocken LXXXV."
Danny said, "Maybe we could stick the key in the lock?"
"Okay," replied Sue.
Unlike their uncle, this was one of the better decisions they had made in their lives.
There were transported to the same world their uncle had. Once they got there, they decided to explore it and record what happened to them in their log...

Sue___
About: Sue is the older sister. She is married to Maximilian Bothe Fossey. She worries about him, while she's exploring and checks on him, every now and then. She feels responsible for Danny now that their father is dead. Of the locks and keys, her and her brother have encountered, she is closest to Totenko-chan.
Likes/Dislikes: Max, Totenko-chan, Danny, exploring, sweets, small animals, antiques, history/Hebiguso, snakes, bitter foods and drinks, those she thinks of as ignorant
Personality: On the one hand, Sue is an intellectual, a go-getter, and a good leader. On the other, she is very judgmental and tends to talk down to those she doesn't see as being on her level. She is ophidiophobic and breaks down whenever she sees a snake.
***
Danny___
About: Danny is the younger brother. He was close to his uncle and dad and mourns them in private, even now. He's a bachelor. He doesn't feel strongly about any of the locks and keys they've encountered, so far.
Likes/Dislikes: exploring, brainstorming, art/being belittled, girly girls, the dark
Personality: Danny is more of a be-er than do-er. On one hand, he's good at coming up with creative ideas, respectful, and observant. On the other, he has trouble hiding how he feels and ends up offending others without meaning to. He's also afraid of the dark.
