Jay had been silent the whole ride. He was lost in endless questions that ,he knew, would probably never get answered. Why had someone stabbed him? Why had they taken his memories from him?
About half way back to the manor was when the pain medicene had worn off. He hissed in pain once and then immediately hid his emotions afterwords. Although Lia had been nice to him before that didn't mean she couldn't change now.
They stopped at her house, well he assumed it was her house. A slave in a blue dress came out and greeted them. It must be Lia's house.

Lia bit her lip when on the way Jayson hissed. The effects of the pain medication must have worn off. She'd either have to give him more or something else to drown out the pain when they got home.
When they pulled up, Lia helped Jayson out and helped him up the vast amount of stairs up to the front door. Nikki was there waiting for them. "Hello, Lia," she said, smiling sweetly. Lia smiled back. "Hello Nikki, could you do me a favor? Find the strongest pain killers we have please. An...accident happened to Jayson here," she motioned to Jayson. Nikki took in Jayson with her eyes, then nodded.
"Where would you like me to bring them to Lia?"
"The slaves' rooms please. You'll find us in one of them." She nodded and walked off. Lia helped him inside and into the slaves' quarters and into a room. Lia knew that her father wouldn't be happy with her. A seriously injured slave was near useless, but she hadn't bought Jayson for work per-say...

Jay tried his best to hide his pain. He knew how bad of an outlook he had. He was too weak to do most work and he was so starved that he was a danger to everyone here. As soon as the doctor had been told that he was a slave he stopped giving small and carefull stitches. The stitches he had for most of his wounds were long and frankenstein like.

Lia stared at Jayson, pain written all over his face. She could tell that he was trying to hide it. "You know Jayson, if you're in pain, show it. It would make everything easier for everyone around you to know that you're in pain. That way, the situation can be taken care of. Speaking of which, I bet they don't feed you very well in The Tower..." she knew she hadn't thought this through. The blood bank was across town and she couldn't leave him here...He'd have to drink from her just this once, so he wouldn't be starving and she would get some time later to make a trip to the blood bank.

"NO!" Jay shouted, his voice cracking slightly. He could tell what she was asking. Then he realised what he had done- he had just told his master 'no' and hung his head. He should be punished.
She wanted him to show his pain? Was that an order? Did he have to? That seemed so easy...and so degrading. Jay sighed and let his pain show.
Instantly his skin paled and a drop of sweat ran down his jaw line. His breathing became labored and he winced every time he moved or took a step.

"Thank-you, Jayson. Now I know that you're in pain and I can fix that," she understood why he had told her 'no' and that was fine. As long as it didn't become a habit, she wanted to hear his opinion. "You need blood, take mine so you don't faint--or die."

"Thats what I can't-" Jay froze when he realised that he was continuing to tell his master 'no'. Color rose to his cheeks and he hung his head. "I'm sorry," he murmured, meaning 'I'll take my punishment now...I deserve it'.
Then he remembered her request. She wanted to be dranken from...to be feed from. "Its like a drug for you humans. Vampire saliva is addicting to humans," he warned, flinching.

Lia shrugged. "I'll just order you to stop, hit you, or something. I won't punish you if you'll listen to me. I don't like punishing people." She pulled her hair into a ponytail with a hair tie she kept around her wrist, exposing her neck.

If she ever wanted him to stop. Jay knew how it was with humans. Why did they think vampires got away with sucking them dry? They didn't realise how much blood they had really lost until it was too late.
"Yes," he answered gravely and took a hesitant step towards her," Miss Lia."

Lia closed the gap, leading his mouth to her neck. The sooner it was done the better. That way, her father would never know that Jayson was currently a weak slave, and he wouldn't die of starvation...

Jay bit her neck instantly, telling himself that she wanted him to feed from her...she had ordered it. Several minutes later, some of his smaller scratches had healed up, leaving no scars.
He pulled away and stood up straight. His cheeks were flushed and he was showing no pain any more...because there wasn't any. "Miss Lia?" He asked a few minutes later when she still hadn't moved," MISS?"

Lia held onto his shirt for stability, but her knees buckled anyway. "Are you better now, Jayson?" she muttered, the room spinning.

"You can just call me Jay..." he answered and then frowned," but I'm not ordering you to do anything. If you want to, Lia, then you may call me Jayson. Its just that... nothing. Yes, Miss Lia, I'm much better." He was in a habit of calling his master/mistress by a respective title when answering a direct question.

Lia nodded, holding a hand to her bleeding wound. Just then, the Nikki walked in with the medicine she had asked for. Lia had totally forgotten about that. Nikki gasped when she saw Lia kneeling in front of Jay, and rushed to Lia's side. "It's okay," Lia explained,"I'll explain later and please keep this a secret. Just get me a bandage--please Nikki."
"Yes, Miss Lia," she said, rushing out again.
