This is the gods' library which contains every book ever written. There are chairs and tables for reading, and every computer contains the program Athena, which locates books in the library.

Open, close, flip page, close once more. Her eyes bored and still filled with determination, she flipped through the books of Olympus. With her friend, Athena, she had located a book she had been searching to find for the past few days. She sat on the top of the bookshelf, her feet dangling to the books. Her back ached, like usual, though her wings were extended out. Their angelic tips reached the ends of the bookshelves, as the lights danced like Terpiskore on her feathers. The scar lay on her face, but beside it was a new mark, cutting through her nose and reaching her bottom lip. It wasn't the main pain, though, as her wings were weak. They needed the feeling of the Titan's embrace, her mother Styx, but she didn't want to deal with her mother yet. She took her hand from the spine of the book and traced her new scar, feeling the cut's line all the way down her face, before going up again. Was it the scar of a hero, or just a plain coward? Her eyes needed sleep, but Hypnos and Morpheus weren't coming to her just yet. Reading and flying awake for a few days now, she hadn't got much sleep from the torment of the gods. Mainly from male gods, as somehow they had enjoyed Poseidon's 'jump from the sea'.

"Hey, Nike. Heard what happened, and maybe you'd be better off with someone better," Apollo had offered to her after she had exited the Trophy Room. He had obviously done himself up, with his blond hair curly and his top off to show off his abs. She shooed him away, along with many of the other gods who asked. Why did they think they had a chance with her, anyways? They'd be better off with an Erotes, or turning a mortal immortal. Maybe it was because of the snickers they gave her as she passed, how they pointed and started mentioning a certain god and goddess name. These two made her skin crawl, yet she didn't show it. Maybe she was so filled with pride that she didn't notice that she was in trouble. Which was why she was in for a big surprise once Zeus had asked for her. Like usual, he wore a look of seriousness, of cockiness, and of pride. Mainly, she had received a rather large cut on her back, ruining her dress made by Athena. It hung loosely on her shoulders as the last of drops of Ichor dried on her back. Ambrosia and nectar was the usual remedy, but was Nike to caught up in her book not to notice her fatigue? And anyways, her cut had come dangerously close to cutting off her wings.

The book wasn't helping, obviously. "I'd be better off listening to Apollo for this," she said, knowing the god never touched on the topic. With her right hand, she closed the book, before tossing it across the room. Like the other books she had thrown that day, they gently landed on the floor, before being lifted off towards where they had come from. Athena's stupid system rarely allowed her to express her anger. With a sigh, she remembered Bia's words. That's where the cut came from, as the goddess of force had used the only thing she could upon her sister, strength. To weak from working jobs from Zeus, she'd been to slow and to uncaring to fight back. Unlike Nike, she was actually liking the scar. Maybe she'd be able to cover her whole face with cuts, scaring people like Ares did with his. She ran her tanned hand through her black hair as she watched gods look up from their books. Whispering soon followed. Everyone knew about what had happened with Poseidon, did they? She knew she could beat Iris for it, but was it going to be useful to say that she would launch the same trouble that the other daughter of Elektra had received? No. Not after the punishment did she receive that more goddesses needed to feel pain.

With a fold of the wings, Nike rose from her sitting position, flying aimlessly in the air for awhile. Eyes filled with boredom, she flew around the library for a few times, before she landed on a desk filled with books, kicking them off with her feet and laying down on the wood rather model-like.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Nike. I hear you've been stirring up trouble along with old Seaweed. It true?" he asked sitting down at a computer. He was trying to find a copy of the Art of War, knowing there was a copy somewhere. When he found the location he began walking towards it keeping in earshot of Nike. "P told me quite a bit, although I didn't quite hear the full story. She was a little too distracted with something else." he pulled his book off of the shelf and brought it to Nike's laying table. "Now, I'd personally like to hear this straight from the horses mouth if possible." He kicked his feet up on a chair next to him and opened the book.

Her opinion on Ares? She hated him. Even if the rest of her siblings liked him, she despised his whole entire being. On her first day, the god of bloodshed had been waiting with a cocky smile on his face. Zeus had ordered him to get care of the Styx children as some type of punishment she supposed, teaching Kratos and Zelos how to fight, and making Bia use her powers. Ares didn't care a bit about Nike, as she wasn't the 'fighting' type at the time. She was forced to go to the arena and watch her sister and brothers fight Ares with no avail, as they tried to beat the god. With some visiting and some time to herself, Nike had practiced well. With her wings acting like a shield and using a simple bow and an arrow, she had beaten the god. Ever since, Ares seemed to have it out for her, and if Athena wasn't there, Nike could have sworn that the god would have tried to kill her by that time. Once he approached her, book of war in his hand obviously, she couldn't help but feel angrier towards him. Gods like him had auras that really influenced others.

"Why do you want to know? Are you like Apollo and trying to get me, too?" she asked. She knew the answer, no. This was probably another mind game placed by Ares, thinking that he could get something out of her. Well, he wasn't going to. After the meeting with Zeus, she had tried to block the night out, with no avail. It kept popping out randomly, forcing her to lick her lips, trying to capture the salty taste of Poseidon's kiss. "Ask Poseidon if you want to get some info, cause you ain't getting it from me," she said bitterly, her eyes looking at her pointed toes. How his feet were up, taking some space from the desk she was on, she wanted to push them off. Lord Ares and his stupidity made her blood boil.

"Oh but dear, Nike. I'm on your side here. You see I like a troublemaker. Anyone who can make Father upset like that is asking for something." Technically he wanted her and Poseidon to get into a fight with Zeus. It would be perfect material to show at the family reunion and it would be a good video for Olympus's Funniest Home Videos on HTV. "You see I always like Uncle, fun guy. I think its great you two are doing something. But I think Father is being too obstinate about all this. Honestly."

"And you're being annoying, Lord Ares." Her eyes flashed blue at him, throwing him a shot of back in the Trojan war, once he was hit by Diomedes. She loved failure and cowardice of the gods. How foolishly high they thought of themselves, sometimes. Only to be brought down by the simplest of things, like a mortals' blow. "I know all you want is another feud. Poseidon is in your favor, Ares. I suggest you stay there. Why don't you just go rape another woman and watch your sister come to her as you cheat on her with another one? That is what you do best,"she said, her voice angry. Maybe she didn't really want to talk about Lord Poseidon, or did she really just want to talk to him before anything grew chaotic? Her stomach felt sick at that moment, before she extended her wings to block the pain.

(("[Ares and Aphrodite] went to the bed and there lay down, but the cunning chains of crafty Hephaistos [Aphrodite's husband] enveloped them, and they could neither raise their limbs nor shift them at all; so they saw the truth when there was no escaping. Meanwhile the lame craftsman god approached [and called the gods to see the entrapped lovers] ... and the gods came thronging there in front of the house with its brazen floor ... For Poseidon there was no laughing; he kept imploring the master smith Hephaistos in hopes that he would let Ares go. He spoke in words of urgent utterance: ‘Let him go; I promise that he shall pay in full such rightful penalty as you ask for - pay in the presence of all the gods."))

(( What's the dude's name in the pictures Moneta? ))

A bright sea green color and the sea breeze filled Athena's favorite place, the library. A voice came from behind Ares. "I appreciate the compliment Ares, but I'd wish you'd stop sucking up to me. I know you want to know what happened, but I'm not gonna tell you," Poseidon said talking about his affair with Nike. Poseidon was 25 years old and wore old fishermen's clothes. Taking a quick look at Nike, he noticed she despised the god of war, a common thing, but he knew it wasn't due to his presence. She wanted to just be alone and not want this brought up. Speaking to Ares, the Lord of the Sea said," And I suggest you mind your own business about what happened. If your Father wants you to know, he would've told you by now. Now leave unless you want to fight the sea." Poseidon knew that Ares didn't dare go against the sea. The sea monsters would crush him into a million pieces just like the Titans. He looked back at Nike. "You're gonna get a lot more visits like this, just for heads up. Morpheus informed me Iris had told everyone."

His temper flared and he slammed his book shut, "Nike watch where you tread. I'm not the most forgiving person. As long as you stay in Uncle's favor I will not harm you. But know he's a rather different kind of person, always changing, who's to say you're not just a phase?" then he noticed his uncle and the fire in his eyes died sheepishly. "Oh, Uncle.... Um... I'll just be going..." he scattered off quickly with the book in his hands and the flowers he's stolen from Persephone's garden at the arena wilting in his pocket.

Watching Ares leave sheepishly, her mind wasn't at ease. Her eyes drifted towards Lord Poseidon, who was looking at her as if she was just a mere child. She was, was she not? She sat up and folded her knees to her chest, before letting out a large sigh. Ares' words echoed through her head. Was it true? Was she just a phase, was this the end? The winged goddess of victory's eyes dimmed down, showing a pale blue. She looked deflated and pitiful, what would her Lord think of her now? "I know. Apollo and Hephaistos have already came to me,"she said softly, before swinging her legs around so that they touched the ground softly. She stood up, walking towards the King of the Sea all up until she smelled the warm, sea breeze that followed him. "I should be hating you, Lord Poseidon. Not only bruised by god's romances, but also punished by female ones. Artemis has scared my legs, Hera has cut her way through my rib cage. Athena, well, she has stopped talking to me.

"Lord Zeus has been looking for you, and has been using me as his warm-up toy. My back is scarred, my wings close to being cut right off. All my tunics are ripped by his fun. With a simple grasp your rash brother has given me bruises, forcing slaps onto my already hurting face. My wings are the only thing holding the pain. I've grown sick, pale, and silent. My own sister has tried to cut my face in half,"
she said, her eyes filled with the anger that she had received from the constant torment that fell upon her. Her eyes were barely staying open a few seconds ago, but now with his sea smell, they were fully awake. Poseidon's twenty year old form stood before her, his eyes staring back. Could Ares have actually been right? Would he just push her away and then go off to sleep with another naiad or nereid? Was that how all Big Three Gods worked? Get one, dump the other. Stomach sick, she kept her fists from getting balled.

She fought the urge to punch the god straight in the face, allowing his face to bleed.

(( Writer's block =( ))

"You brought your own punishes upon yourself. I did nothing except do what you said,"
Poseidon replied coldly. Yes, he had used her but Nike had used him back. Her points where invalid, voided, pointless. As she walked closer to him, he could sense who tense she was. He was surprised she hadn't punched him yet. The punishment she had received was horrible, but it still wasn't his fault. "I figured brother would be looking for me, and I guess I should help you out a little. Would you like to be turned into a horse or pegasus?" he offered her. He could easily do that but feel he shouldn't do much else. He needed to get back to his palace as his week was now up. Amphitrite would be worried, and would want to yell at him, then probably go hide like she did before she married him.

She shook her head violently, her wings growing small behind her back. Tenseness ran through her, but it was overwhelmed with Zelos. She lifted her fist, but it soon dropped. She sat down on the desk, her feet barely touching the ground. "No." Her voice rang through the now empty library. Maybe they were getting Zeus. She didn't care. Her eyes looked up at Poseidon, was he getting ready to leave? Why did he even come? To make her suffer? Did he actually want to see her defeat? All she wanted to say was Ay gamisou at him, her spit hoping to hit his face. Yet, what was up with her? No. This wasn't Zeus, her restraint holding her from launching Bia on him. Her scars shone dimly in the light, as her eyes closed softly. No. That's all she could say? "He's planning something for you. I suggest you just leave, Amphitrite is probably waiting for you. Your family is waiting for you, Lord Poseidon,"she said, a small amount of bitterness that she had used on Ares still hanging in her tone of voice.

Her eyes opened once more, Poseidon's sea green eyes looking deeply at her. Did he wanted her to except the offer of being a horse or a pegasi? And be tormented for all eternity? Go down in mythology as the winged goddess that was turned into a Pegasus by Poseidon? Her grip on the desk tightened as the thought ran through her head, imagining herself being ridden by a foolish mortal. Or worse. A half-blood. Her eyes seemed to flash stronger as she thought of it, looking foolishly like Europa and Zeus as the form of a bull. Her eyes drifted off to side of the library. "Things are getting all so complicated. I can feel Eris' children floating throughout Olympos. If only gods could commit suicide,"she thought out loud. The first sentence was constantly being repeated by herself, told to her own mind so that she could fall asleep so that she didn't throw a tornado fit and destroy Olympos. She brushed a strand of hair behind her ear as she listened to gods' whispering from outside the library.

Her gaze returned to Lord Poseidon(or Jude Law.. Or Watson, or...)), and a sigh escaped from her tightly pressed lips. She loosened her tenseness from her body. Sitting up from the desk once more, she took a few more steps, before there was no space between them. She closed her eyes, and grabbed the back of his head, kissing his salty lips. This would probably be the last time they kissed, she knew. Her grip on the back of his head released all the pain and the anger she was feeling towards him, grabbing his head away from her lips, making her lean in more. Her grip loosened, before she took a step back. "Everything is sick with you three,"she said. She sighed, watching him with her light eyes. Would he leave? She still had to tell him something, but with all the anger she was feeling towards him, it didn't feel appropriate at the moment.

"He's always planning stuff," Poseidon muttered under his breath. "I was planning to go after this. And don't use the same tone with me that you used with Ares!" he yelled, angered causing a small earthquake somewhere. " Remember Nike, I offered to hide you when I didn't even need to, so don't argue with me! We're even!" he fussed at her. Before he disappeared, Nike did the most unexpected thing, kiss the Lord of the Seas again. One of the mortal woman did that with him when they had one last thing to say. He knew she was angered by him so that was the only reason he could think of why she would kiss him. "What do you want? And not everything is sick with us! A foolish child wouldn't understand," he asked and commented with bitterness. The kiss was amazing, but it wasn't appropriate for both of them.

The bitterness to the final comment made her eyes glow, shooting images of Asteria turning to the island Delos. She sighed, looking away. Was there a reason to fight with him? He had broken a few ships by now, probably, by his anger towards her. What had be called her? A foolish child? Weren't they only a few months apart? She hadn't matured as well as Poseidon had once in Kronos' belly, as she had stayed in the Underworld where Helios didn't shine. Her face was pale and her growth was stunted, and once she was freed, she didn't look like Poseidon. Even if she fought alongside the three brothers with Hekate, she hadn't realized the temper till she was hired by Zeus, forced to follow him and give him stupid victory. "To calm down, for one. Unless you want to destroy some more ships,"she said, her eyes dim and the anger subsiding with the breaths she took. "Look. I know I don't understand this whole Phanes thing, it's all to complicated for me. Just.. let me talk, please?"she asked. She used the desk as support as her wings extended out. "Okay, here we go. After we were met with Philotes, my anger kept growing. Pain swallowed over me, and I guess I didn't understand 'cause I'm a 'foolish child'. Her eyes looked up at the Lord of the Sea.
