The second creek at camp, the Euras creek leads to the Big House, the Art and Crafts Center, the Volleyball courts and Thalia's pine. The river nymphs live here.

Adonia sat down by the creek's edge, pulling out the roughly cut, wooden flute she received from the Apollo cabin. Taking a deep breath, she blew into the flute. It wasn't Mozart, but it made a tune. She continued to play, amused by the bird-like sound it made. She grinned, before bringing the flute back to her lips, playing until her lips were sore.

Kina wandered around, feeling nervous, as she came to Camp Half-blood no more than 10 minutes ago, and jumped at every little noise. She took her special moon clip out of her hair, and looked at it, still not knowing what it was for. She remembered some movies she saw with her father, once, and mimicked the characters by blowing gently on the clip. Silently, to her amazement, the clip transformed into a quiver, holding a bow and a few arrows. "Wow," she said, and leaned against a tree, looking at it. She breathed on it again, and the quiver resumed to a clip. Kina placed it in her hair, and continued walking, still awestruck. When she actually reached the creek, she heard...nice music, and saw the girl playing a flute. "You're good," she said softly.
((Phew! That's the most I've typed before.))

Sitting down by the creek, Adonia began to worry. About everyone. She saw the way Lyra smiled at Gabe, and she saw his face when he talked about her. On top of that, Lyra had changed. She was no longer the happy Lyra she used to be. From what she could see, Lyra was going to kiss Gabriel, and, as she expected, would soon abandon him. Adonia kneaded her forehead, upset. Lyra's relationships had never lasted long, and to Adonia, she assumed Gabriel would just be another fling. She groaned at the thought of her two best friends, wooing each other, and then later, unable to speak to each other. Or worse, one of them dead. That tended to happen an awful lot. "What am I going to do?"she murmured, running her hands across the surface of the water.
"I could be overreacting," she said brightly,"It could just be my imagination..." But she fell into worried silence again. She pulled her knees up to her chin, and linked her arms around her legs. Best to stay close and see what happens, she decided. No need to worry about something that might not happen. She tied her hair back, her wide eyes focused on her rippling reflection. Her pale pink lips opened to form the word, 'Help', though no noise issued from her mouth.
She ran a long-fingered hand through her hair, trying to make sense to herself. She didn't know who do be worried about. And the thought of Lyra and Gabriel together, something stirred in her stomach. Was she upset? Though she had repeated more than once, that she liked Gabe, but not 'in that way', she couldn't help but feel lonely at the prospect of him getting over her and leaving her for Lyra. She smiled wryly at the thought that Lyra had had several boyfriends, and she had never had any. Never had her first kiss. Never shared the words 'I love you' with another person. It was almost humiliating.
She smiled shrewdly. Nothing will go wrong, she assured herself. You're overreacting. Best enjoy the springtime. Who knows? Perhaps you'll go back to school this year with Chiron's permission. The very thought made her laugh.

Kevin walked along the shoreline, barefoot. He had his feet in the water, and was walking one foot in front of the other, until he saw Adonia. He saw the look on her face and walked over to her.
"Whats up?" He began, sitting down next to her. "You look...well, worried, to say the very least." He said, frowning slightly. "Why? What's wrong?"
((I don't really like to do this double location thing, due to the possibility of the two activities meeting and causing a tear in the fabric of the universe, among other things, but in thissotuation, Kevin can be at the beach and here Iguess. At least for now))

Jenny watched the two talk. She started to skip stones. Plop! One sunk. "Dang it.." she muttered to herself.

"I'm worried," she said, sighing deeply. "I think Lyra and Gabe are falling for each other, and I'm not sure if I should be happy, or really worried..."she muttered, her eyes turning bright blue. She started pulling up grass by her feet.
"I could be overreacting," she said, still unsure,"But for some reason, I just feel... jealous!" She laughed, running her fingers over the surface of the clear, cold water.
Once again, she was reminded of the way Lyra smiled at Gabriel, and the way he flushed bright red in front of her. She glanced over at Kevin, a little confused.
"What do you think?"

"To be completely honest." He began, "I don't fully think she's his type, to tell you the truth. But if he does get with her, then your jealousy kind of is your own fault." He said. "I mean, you had soooo many chances to make a move, and you didn't. So it really was just a matter of time. But, then again, your best friends could be dating, break up, and never speak to eachother ever again. But on the other hand, you could be over-reacting. Do you really wanna take the chance though?" He asked, lying back, sticking his feet into the water.
((Gotta go for now. Stupid friend of a friend's party. Sigh....I don't even wanna go, but whatever.))

Adonia frowned slightly, but was also glad Kevin has returned to his usual, blunt self after his concern. "Well, to be honest, I'm not sure about anything. I'm not sure if I like Gabriel, or if I'm just jealous because I've never had a boyfriend. Every boyfriend Lyra's ever had has either dumped her, or she's dumped him. Gabe and I are such good friends, and it's the same thing with me and Lyra. I just don't want them to break up and never speak to each other." She sighed, looking a little peaky.
"I guess I am overreacting. The best thing to do for now is just live in the moment and see how it goes. I'm going to have to be perfectly honest with both of them."

"Sorry to say it, but once again, your fault. You had plenty of chances, and you let them all pass. This may very well be the reason, you've never had a boyfriend." He said, yawning. "Gabe and I are good friends. And Lyra and I are good friends, but you don't see me worrying do you? No, you don't." He added, smiling slightly. "Plus, if they do hook up, there's always...well....there's...yea." He said, closing his eyes.

"Alright well. I'm gonna head down to the armory, and see if Lyra's started to work on my sword that I asked her to make. I'll listen carefully, and tell you if anything significant happens between the two lovebirds, kay?" He said, jumping to his feet. He walked over a small wooden bridge (is there one of those?) and crossed the creek, and headed back to camp, and towards the Armory.

Kevin Star The greatest pleasures, are often followed by the greatest pain.
Kevin sighed and walked along side the running water. It was raining outside. It wasn't a warm rain, and it wasn't pouring. It was a cold mild rain, little harder than drizzle. Kevin sat down on a log that had been polished, made to be used as a bench. He sat on it and looked down at the ground, seated on a log in front of one of the few points where it was peaceful. The running of the water could still be heard, but the water in this area was still. He looked into it and saw his reflection. He took out the sword he had recently received and touched it to the surface of the water, sending out a rippling shockwave, that caused his image to no longer be visible again and stirred the small puddle of water. It should have been simple. It should have been an easy yes or no. The line between right and wrong should have been clear, why wasn't it? He thought to himself. He knew what he was doing was wrong, in a way. But at the same time, if she liked Kevin, and not Gabe, it wasn't his fault, was it? He couldn't just tell Gabe, not after what had happened. He couldn't be the one to tell Gabe that it was a lie. He sighed again. The cold rain got a bit harder, and was clearly audible, falling on himself, and on the creek. He frowned slightly, as the rain fell on him. He didn't care though, the weather was fitting, almost too much. He looked up, hoping to find something to help him, but of course, saw nothing. He looked down again, and shook his head, putting his hands on his face, the bottoms of his palms covering his eyes. Then he pulled them away, and though not visible, a single, very small tear, rolled down his face, but was washed away by the cold rain that continued to come down, accelerating to an almost pouring degree of rainfall.
