The Legend....
You were banished from your homeland, cast astray into this darkened world. With no friends or family to help you, you nearly died, until you came upon a young man. He offered you a deal, a deal that could not be refused. He offered you life, for a price, you had to fight the others who also accepted this offer. He said the winner shall find a new home, the losers shall be no more than a spec in history.
Of course he said this would be a long, and treacherous, event, for new men would arrive, making it all the more harder. Then he would also send his trained men in to hunt you and push you together, forcing you to fight. The young man also said that if you did not accept his offer you would die there, slowly and painfully. Of course any man can fall to the offer of a better life, or to life itself. You too accepted this offer, for who would choose a painful and slow death over the chance at freedom?
The young man explained to you that he had ways to pit you against each other, using his hunters, or by providing neccessities to the victor of a fight. He said the event was often long and grueling, and only a few matches had been finished in many generations. Then he told you the last piece of information, which made you regret your choice, that even if you won a round, you fought another, until you died. He admitted that none had gained their freedom.
He went on to tell you the history of the games, which he called Punishment, explaining that previous competitors rebelled and tried to destroy the Punishment game. Saying that he had wiped them out, then there were the ones who joined and loved killing and were offered another oppurtunity, to be a Hunter. Finally he told you about the many who died in the game of Punishment.

You hate these yes, so I'll keep it simple.
I. Nothing above PG-13, common rule, but disobeyed all the time.
II. No auto anything, I hate that.
III. Be active in the roleplay.
IV. Post your profiles.
V. Just follow the Gaian Rules and you should be fine.

Rayj looked at the young man, he already hated him. "I hope your soul rots in hell you pitiful fiend!" Then he thrust his elbow into the young man's gut, causing him to double over. Rayj tried to take off, but a hard club nailed him square on the back of the head, causing him to tumble to the ground. He tried to stand, but he was to weak to move. He saw the young man's feet in front of his face.
"I guess you'll be one my little rebellions huh?" The man said mockingly, kicking him in the ribs for payback. "Don't try that again you worthless pile of scum, or you'll be gone before it starts!"

Xoneas looked coldly at the man across the clearing. Clearly, the man had no idea what he was, or who he was. The hafl demon closed the distance between the two of them in a short stride. He halted 5 feet from the man, close enough to cast a simple fire spell. He decided to attack him instead of doing that. He moved in and attacked, taking the man down. However, the man did not give up easily. He got back up, took out a knife, and began slashing at Xoneas. Xoneas blocked every blow but one, and that one blow was what brought him to his knees.

Rayj almost spit on the man, but a thick black bag was put over his head, roughly. A powerful pair of hands pulled his arms behind his backand tied them extremely tight with a thin rope, practically cutting off circulation. He felt himself being pulled across a rough surface, and when they hit a bump, he always felt himself pulled down a lot harder than he should have hit. He didn't know how long the trip had been, he fell unconscious a few times and his mind was fuzzy still from being nailed by the club.
Finally he awoke in a damp cellar, that smelled of rotting flesh and in a word death. Rayj gagged when he woke up and looked around, they had removed the bag, he wished they hadn't, beside him was a mutilated body, of a child. He tried to stand, but felt chains around his arm pull him down, he was trapped. In anger he screamed out, "Cowards! Fight me!" He heard a sound, and thought it was them coming to fight him. He started to regret his choice, until he felt he was moving upwards.
At first it was slow, then it sped up and he felt as if his stomach had hit the floor and fallen through. When the cell stopped it stopped instantly. Now his stomach felt like it had flown out his head. The cell door opened up, falling like a drawbridge. Outside of the cell he saw a beautiful forest, then he saw a glint of light a little ways away. An arrow was flying straight towards him! He rolled out of the way, the chains had released themselves from him. The arrow hit the wall hard and sunk in about an inch. It was on now.

Xoneas was not finished. He was not going to let some mortal man defeat him. He rose back to his feet, and took on his true form. Xoneas was now a full demon wraith and he held his sword like one. He swung one heavy blow and killed the man, but before he could relish the victory, he was tied in chains and thrown into a cell. Xoneas transformed back into his regular form, human once more.

With a flare of anger in his eyes Rayj looked around for a weapon, he spotted one as another arrow blazed towards him. This time he ducked under it, but playing it smart raised a shield of darkness to defend himself. The arrow shattered one the shield and he dived for the weapon, his blades and bow. First he scooped up his bow and found an arrow. Not an even playing field now! He thought as he let the arrow fly, it soared throught the air and hit the archer. The shot didn't kill him, it was the fall. Rayj never really killed them directly. Rayj grabbed his blades and threw his bow on his back. Looks like I have to win Punishment. He then stepped out of his cell, took a few tentative steps before bursting into a full speed dash.

Xoneas layed in the cell for who knows how many hours, just waiting to get out and quench his thirst for battle. He would not be denied...Xoneas would find a way out of the crappy cell by himself, if he had to. Suddenly, the door opened and he was dragged out. He was put into a rather large cage against a golem, in front of a crowd. The golem attacked savagely, almost taking his head off in one swing. So I'm going to have to attack quickly, hmmm? He thought to himself. He attacked the golem's hard chest, to find that it was softer than the rest of its body. Unbelieveably, he had found the weak spot of the golem. This is an incredible stroke of luck! Xoneas thought as he savagely tore at the golem's chest with his bare fists. Eventually, he managed to dig to the core, where he managed to rip out its life source, a small crystal.

Rayj had heard cheers coming from an arena not far away, he had sprinted over there. Arriving in time to see a mysterious man take down a vicous golem. He looked at the spectators who stared back at him in terror. He wasn't supposed to be there, he didn't care. He looked to the center of the stadium, where a man stood. The young man. Rayj clutched his fists and screamed, "You are a low life! Pitting innocent souls against each other for the heck of it!"
The young man didn't hear him and said, "Our contestant Xoneas has defeated the golem and will now be released into the game of Punishment. Where he shall be placed in the Damned Forest against the other competitors, including our newest addition,Rayj Imikari. Now release....Xoneas!'
((Sorry Xoneas you were a bit off, I meant that it was a single game. Hope this works, you just looked like you were in other events, not Punishment.))
