Ike doesn't even belong in the same category as Link or Cloud. He's the worst out of all the Fire Emblem protagonists. Lyndis, Eliwood, Ephraim or Eirika could take him any day and wipe the floor with him.
Anyways, I think it'd be a fierce fight between Link and Cloud. Cloud has materia, and Link has long-range weapons. I suppose Cloud would win since he could just zap Link, though it all depends on Link's magic resistance ^^

Actually, I'd have to say that Marth and Roy are just as bad if not worse. At least Ike is a tank in Radiant Dawn. Marth NEVER class changes, and Roy was just an awful Lord with piss poor hit rate and bad defense.
As for the fight, as much as I despise his character and always say how he's amongst the worst Final Fantasy protagonists, I'd give it to cloud. Like Erin said, Cloud has materia, summons, and limit breaks. He just has too much by himself for Link to handle. Sure Link has arrows, bombs, and magic, but I'd like to see Link handle a Knights of the Round summon, blizzaga, and Meteorain.
Also, the refernce picture for Cloud you used was from Crisis Core, in which that particular Cloud would win without question because he has a GUN.

I knew this match would come up. Cloud is my favorite but against like and ike? hmm. it would be a nice struggle battle considering the people who are fighting. I still think cloud got this.

Actually, I have come to a better conclusion after thinking about it.
Ike being limited to only Ragnell, gets long ranged to death in the first two minutes. Link and Cloud duke it out for a bit blahblahblah.
Then a space-time portal opens up and out comes Sol Badguy who promptly delivers a swift Dragon Install to both of them, doing the world a favor and wiping them off the face of the ******** yeah, this guy.
