-Battle-
1. A battle will require a mixture of literacy, luck, weapons, and timing. This guild will run off of a battle system but that does not mean that literacy will be sacrificed, as posting fluent posts will add to the damage taken by the opponent.
2. This battle system only applies to Monster versus player, meaning the PvP will be decided in a different way, namely by old fashioned role-playing.
3. Monster battles will be completely random, as is the nature of the game. Monsters are meant to be beaten as a group so they will be extremely tough for a single person.
-Battle System-
Step 1: Monster attacks, monster will always attack first as they will surprise you. Mod will roll 2 10 sided dice, if the number is above 5 then the attack hit if not then it missed. The mod will specify which player was attacked.
Step 2: If the attack hit, then calculate the damage. Only the player that got hit will have to worry about the damage. Make sure you keep up with the damage calculations! They won't be that hard.
Example: Monster hits player A for 1 damage.
Player then subtracts 1 from their HP pool!
Step 3: The player must post and roll two ten sided dice. 5 or above means that the attack will hit. Make the post convincing, if you aim for critical parts then there will be critical damage. If you cast an elemental spell, and the opponent is weak against that element, then you scored a critical hit. Critical hits do 2x normal damage.
*Note* Battle order for party is determined by the party, so discuss it beforehand
Step 4: Mod will tally up damage for monster and will deduct the appropriate amount form the monster's HP. Then we start over with step 1. Remember to strike critical points, or try to atleast!
