Student: The average student at the school. Being young and new with no exact job, you are open to many opportunities. Not to mention you can defend yourself inside the school and on campus. Anywhere else is possible but I suggest a road trip. What you choose to do, why you choose to do it, and who you follow or love will be your decision.
School staff: You are the staff of the school. Janitor, teacher, officer, whichever you choose. You are an essential to the survival of the students with your philosophy and mapping of the school.
Scientist: Good or bad, you are the ones who caused the plague to spread through a lab accident. What you choose to do is your decision.
Soldier: You come in after the plague sets out. Your only job is to kill people with the infection. No questions.
Intelligent zombie: Your one of the few zombies who's mind was not altered. You have the cravings and power of the fast paced buggers but not over-powering need to feed. You will feel hungry, however...
How you choose to play this character is up to you whether it be eating brains or keeping people alive.
