Anya walked over to dribble some hoops. It was dark out here. too early to be sunrise, but she felt safe. Dark, but...safe feeling. Strange for the child of the sun god. She looked up into the sky, up the moon; Artemis' domain. How strange, she thought. With Apollo as my father, would that make Artemis my aunt? Could one say that light must always be related to dark? Haha. Anya felt bad. She was the child of Apollo, and barely knew who he was. She hated blood. Her father was the god of healing. she loved the night. How did that fit into a sun God's daughter? Even her poetry was off. Never correct. Never what a writing teacher, or proffesor wanted. Too much style led to different a piece. How could she stand here and call herself a daughter of Apollo, when she barely knew who he was? She looked up at the sky, expecting to see the stars, but instead watched as the sun rose, high and unexpected. It was too early for this. Hmm, she thought. Maybe I do have a dad who cares?

Chad, the new, but unclaimed demi-god, stepped into the basketball court right after he stormed out of the Herme's Cabin. He quickly walked toward the other side of the caged rectangle, to the bin. He picked up a basketball.
It was late noon, and was a very hot day. But Chad still managed to shoot a few hoops. When ever he missed the net, he grunted in anger.
"Stupid Camp Half Blood!" He muttered angrily. He didn't seem to cooperate with the change well so far.
'Wait...' Chad started to think to himself, 'It has only been my first day here. I know it is hard for me to coop with change, but once I do, I never want to give it up. I might as well give this place more of a chance.'
It had been probably an hour of him playing hoops at the court when he left. He began to grow hungry. His stomache roared like a lion asking for gazelle, but in this case, it was a stomache asking for supper.

Veronica walked onto the court and grabbed a ball. She started dribbling and did a few lay-ups.

A person looking like Argus, wearing a white-teeshirt and jeans, and carrying an umbrella walked up to the girls and motioned for them to leave the court.

Veronica dribbled around the key, shooting from all around it-and never missed a shot. she smiled to herself and though I've still got it.
