Having only gone there once or twice, Adonia wasn't quite sure what she wanted to make. Years of sketching the things around her had left her with reasonable artistic talent, preferring to draw realistic things rather than abstract. She took a large notebook from a shelf and started drawing with a pencil, sketching a beautiful clearing she remembered in the woods, with thyme and oxlips, violets and primroses.
She had visited it many times, but, now as she drew a primrose, she didn't remember them being there until her last visit. She shrugged and continued drawing, realizing she should give the clearing a name. With all it's beautiful flowers and sweet smelling perfumes, she thought of Persephone, the goddess of springtime, for that was when the clearing was absolutely wonderful.
She would call it Persephone's Clearing then, she decided happily, continuing to draw. She reached for the paints and started painting the picture, adding purples, greens, yellows, browns and whites, and taking gold and splattering it in the sky and ground, giving the picture a particularly earthy feel. She grinned softly to herself, blowing gently over the surface of the picture, and putting it on the table to dry. It was really rather pretty, so she decided she would hang it up in the Zeus Cabin.
But not yet, because another place sprang into mind, a place she desperately wanted to draw. This place was just as beautiful, and she was glad she remembered to draw it. It was part of the lake, but it was beneath a tree, which shaded that portion of the lake, making it murky and cool. She drew a capsized canoe beneath it, remembering fondly the day she had capsized that very canoe.

Packing up her things, Adonia slowly wandered out of the building, but not before she got the chance to look at some other projects. There were several paintings, some she recognized as Claire's, and little statues of the gods, and some nifty little contraptions Lyra must have made. She ran her hand across a paint splattered table, picking up the paint as she went. It was pretty messy in here, and empty too. She sighed, looking out the window, watching the sun sink a little lower in the sky.
Nobody really cared about the arts anymore, it was all about training and the Armory, she realized. Speaking of which, she hadn't seen Lyra for the longest of times, she missed her friend. She could imagine Lyra, working hard in the Armory, scratches and burns all over her hands, but in the end, it would be worth it, for she would hold something absolutely amazing in her hands, that everyone would gasp over and want immediately.
She grinned at the thought of Lyra giving up her job as a blacksmith. From what she had heard, some Ares kid was in the Armory, trying to be a blacksmith as well. She could imagine how Lyra felt about that. But Lyra was one of the best blacksmiths the world had ever seen, she didn't need to worry about some dumb Ares kid.
Fumbling with her paintings, she at last left, walking very slowly towards the Zeus Cabin so she could hang up her pictures, and later go to Persephone's Clearing where she could gather flowers to freshen up the cabin.
