XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXE C R U T E A K XC I T Y XXEcruteak is known as a historical city; fittingly, its buildings all feature traditional Japanese architecture, while the tallest building in the city, and perhaps all of Johto, is the ten-story Bell Tower in the city's northeast corner, built over a millennium ago. The city is known as being a centerpoint of the legendary Pokémon native to the Johto region and is situated in the woods between tall Mt. Mortar and the open fields near Johto's western shores. T H I N G S XT OXD O - Visit Pokemon Center - Get a Dowsing Machine from the dowsing lady to find some hidden items around Ecruteak! - Defeat a Rocket Grunt in the Dance Theater and earn the HM03 from the Director! - Make sure to visit the Burned Tower before you leave. The Bell Tower is currently off-limits. - Challenge Morty at the Ecruteak Gym - When you're all done, you can move on west to Route 38. (Route 42 to the east.) - After you get all eight badges, you can return here to challenge the Kimono Girls!

This particular dance theater houses kimono girls who not only dance, they're rather proficient trainers as well!
