Five days after the phone call from ARTHUIN Industries, the door was knocked upon. When opened, no one was there. But on the floor, there was a large square box. The ARTHUIN label was part of the seal holding it closed. No one else was on the hallway, not that early in the day.

Kuro was having his breakfast since he had a delivery to do for a elderly women and loooked up when he heard the knock. He tched lightly then headed to the front door and saw the box. ".......It ain't them..." He said as he picked up the heavy box and laid it on the table. "Its ain't them....It's just a fluck." He told himself as he started to open the box.

Inside the box, lay a curl-up, sleeping Kaito. The bottom of teh box had been padded with soft blankets. His hat lay clutched in his hands.
There was also a piece of paper inside. On it, a single sentence was printed: Wake up, Kaito.

"They weren't kidding......." Kuro said as he stared at the sleeping boy. He picked up the paper and looked at it and frowned. "WAke him up? Why the hell should I wake him up?! I should send him back you bakas!"

The paper then burned up right there without burning Kuro's fingers. Something like a switch coming on was heard, and the boy within the box stirred.
Slowly, he opened his golden eyes and sat up. He put his hat on top of his head. Then he looked around until his eyes fell upon the other. "...Master..." He whispered. He then inclined his head. "I am Kaito. I will serve you till the end of my days. Please take care of me in return."

Kuro blinked as the paper burned then looked at Kaito when he heard the boy's voice. "....." He didnt' say anything as he just stared at the boy, wondering if this was all a dream and if he will wake up soon...

Kaito noticed that his master hadn't replied adn slowly looked up. "Master?" He asked, worried. "Am I...unsatisfactory? If so, then tell me so I may make the proper readjustments."

Kuro came back to the real word and scowled at him. "Tch. I need to know why the hell your here? What do you want?" He asked as he glared at the boy, not trusting anything about this. Not the comany, not the call and definitely not this boy.

Kaito looked a bit hurt at that. "I...I am your personal ARTHUIN. I exist to serve my master however should please him. Whether it's business, servitude, or pleasure. As I am not human, several dangers do not exist with me. If you need proof, then I will show you my 'core'."
After speaking, he unbuttoned bot h his vest and shirt and pulled them open. Then, he ran a hand down his chest and a panel revealed itself, sliding aside to show a glowing orb within him. Surrounding the core, were indeed organs, but artificial ones that looked close to the real things. The core hummed with warmth. "This is my 'core', my 'proof' as an ARTHUIN. The industry that make me also made others like me. You were chosen as my Master. Thus, I shall serve you however you want me to."

"Personal ARTHUIN? What is that?" Kuro asked before he blinked at the glowing orb and fakes organs. "Holy..." He trialed off as he looked at Kaito then at the core then back. "Why would they choose me..? I've never even heard of ARTHUIN or whatever this comany is called." He stated as he sat down in the chair since his legs felt liek they would cave any second.

Kaito shook his head. "I am not programmed with the proper answers you're probably looking for. ARTHUIN is a private company. Even we products know nothing much of their goals. We just perform for our chosen master." The panel shut and he re-buttoned his clothes. Then he climbed out of the box and kneeled before his master. "I am sorry for the shock I've dealt you, Master."

Kuro stared at him with a dumbfounded look then shook hsi head and sighed. He placed his elbow on his knee and his head in his hand. 'This is insane! They don't actually expect me to keep this....thing do they?! This is ludicrous!' He thought and then looked at Kaito through his fingers then shook his head again. "Whatever....ugh....now I'm freaking tired...And I need to deliver that stupid package..."

Kaito looked up, glad that his Master wasn't goign to throw him away. Not yet anyway. "Master! If you're tired, how about I brew you some invigorating tea? Or perhaps, I could make the delivery for you so you may rest a bit? Whichever it may be, I'll do my best to serve you!" He bowed again.

Kuro looked at Kaito then sighed in defeat and just nodded. "Fine, do whatever. Make the tea..." He said. "But I'm doing the delivery." He added; he sure as heck wasn't going to let him out of the house yet. Not until he had a story to explain this boy that just magically came into his life.
