I don't think so, for they are basically each other's antithesis. They will get into arguments, maybe even another b***h slap. I But, I don't think it is as unhealthy as IchiHime. (not bashing) A teenage girl's obsession with a single boy is even more unhealthy. At least with Ulquihime, they can change each other. For Orihime, Ulquiorra will make her stronger and more independent. For Ulquiorra, Orihime will help him understand human emotions. They kind of balance each other out. And another thing, Ichigo is always treating Orihime like she needs protection 24/7 which will make her extremely dependent on him. That isn't going to do much for her character development.
Your thoughts?

I agree with everything starting with "At least with UlquiHime.."
Nothing else. UlquiHime is not unhealthy.
And don't get me wrong, I despise Ichigo, but the only thing wrong with how
Hime feels about him is that he's such a douche and barely even speaks to her
unless necessary. That's what makes it obsession. Otherwise, that's called love.

I can understand your points, but Ulquiorra seems more of an obsessive type than Orihime. (: She just has one of those typical innocent cute schoolgirl crushes on Ichigo, and she still has her own life apart from him. As for Ichigo acting like Orihime needs protection... well, the author makes most of the girls like that. x-x'' I mean, first with Rukia's capture and they all have to save her... now Orihime is captured and everyone have to save her. Even though the girls are strong, the guys tend to have all of the manga panels to look awesome.
What makes me like Ulquihime better is because that pairing is so cute, interesting, and they fit together despite having so many differences. ~squee whee I don't see why it's unhealthy at all~

Once again, I mostly agree.. But even though I admit, Ulquiorra does seem a bit
more of the jealous type, it's only to a certain degree. The rest falls into the realm of fanfics..
Also "typical schoolgirl crushes" usually last about a year, or if you're referring to real life then maybe a
couple months, not a matter of years. Once again, a fact I hate, but IchiHime is not exactly a crack pairing either.
Basically, whoever Hime ends up with is entirely dependent on how big a skutch Kubo wants to be..

Hmm... good point there. Orihime needs to wake up and realize how much compatible Ulquiorra is to her. Orihime does really love Ichigo... but the author seems more leaned toward IchiRuki for the issue of who Ichigo likes. (Orihime is unfortunately stuck in a one-sided crush unless something else happens.) Ichigo is just putting in a lot of effort into saving Orihime because she's his friend. He would undoubtedly do the same thing for Ishida, Chad, Renji, etc.

Now that I agree with. True, Ichigo did seem a bit more inclined to Orihime in the Espada Arc,
but that's just cuz he wants to be the hero >x<
Despite my cynics, I really do hope Ulqui comes back, even if it doesn't make any sense 8'D
Lord knows Kubo's put a lot of things into Bleach that didn't make sense just to support Ichigo's lame a**...

I personally believe that opposites attract. Initially, Ulquiorra, of course, was a calloused figure and Orihime thought of himself as an evil Hollow. It wasn't love at first sight, you know? One thing I like about this couple is it's dynamic. Ulquiorra went from callous to understanding. Orihime went from weak to getting stronger. And they LEARNED it from each other. Besides, I remember Ichigo recklesly fired off a Getsuga Tensho at her and Ulquiorra stopped with both his hands when the Lolycars were around. Besides, correct me if I'm wrong, slapping someone and trying to reach out to someone means love.
As for Ulquiorra returning, well, I'm not gonna explain it, sorry sweatdrop , but I do know a source that will help clear things up.
