I'm awake, wishing I was asleep.
I'm asleep, wanting to be awake.
I'm with others, wanting to be alone.
I'm alone, trying to be with others.
I am scared, crying out for help.
I am brave, helping those who cry.
I stay and fight when I want to run away.
I run away when I should stay and fight.
I am me, nobody else.
I am nobody, not even me.
I live in a cage, trying to break free.
I am free, fighting to get back in.
I am a person.
I am a shadow.
I live in light.
I live in darkness.
I fear nothing, and I fear everything.
I am real.
I am fake.
I am what others make me.
I am what I make myself.
I am me.
And nobody else.
