The thick, shadowy forest that serves as a boundary between the Unicorns' Vale and the grasslands of Alma's Back. Flickering leaves and curved boles cast dappled shadows upon the blanket of leaves, brush, and fir needles. Here the deer and small forest creatures roam along with the blue-bodied goatlings known as Pans, for which the woods are named.
