I don't even like most of the originals.
The only Pokémon I like in that group is Mew, really.

Eh, most of the people who bash on the more recent generations seem to have not followed the series on through. They seem to have their heads stuck back in time and are too stubborn to come into the new. It's my opinion. o 3o

[Ren The Ryoko] Nostolgiatards are so obnoxious. Seconded! I really hate when people a few years older than me sit there and are like, 'Old school pokemon ftw!' or, 'New pokemon suck and aren't as creative as the old ones.' or...any other similar phrases.
I mostly get pissed when they talk about the designs of the old pokemon like they're so amazing and creative. Yeah...Diglet must have been mulled over for months and...Goldeen and Seaking are totally NOT just goldfish with horns and fangs stuck to them.
Its...funny when they play it off like I just got into Pokemon when in fact I've loved it since the Red and Blue versions came out for the Game Boy. Haha.

ngl, sometimes i get really, really nostalgic for the first 151. But i think my favorite gen is Jhoto. They're just basically the best, overall. XD Although i do love certain pokemon from the other regions. Jhoto just has the most that i like.
Although, tbh, i think that these new gen pokemon have too much detail and design. Which i think is part of why i dont like them too much. Especially what i've seen from these new Gen 5 pokemon...too crazy. XD
But yeah.

The only thing I don't like about the other generations are that the english names are progressively getting.. odder.
I mean.. "Turtwig".. has gotta be my least favorite pokemon.

Second Generation Pokemon [Johto] are my favorites though. I grew up with Pikachu and Cyndaquil in my games. <3
