My granny is trying her best to teach me how to knit. However, she goes too fast, and I usually lose it, or forget. Could someone teach me the basics please? I heard it wasn't too hard.

heart you can purchase an "I taught myself to Knit" book at Walmart, Michael's, for about $10-20 dollars, that way you can go at your own speed, then use gma to answer any questions about the directions given.............

 I have a lot of wonderful books on knitting but I still don't manage to do it.It takes a lot of skill and practice I guess.

they used to teach that in our middle school, wasn't so bad

Nice! I'd love to be able to knit, since I'm kinda arts/crafty~

Save the cash, you could always just use the internet as the reference and just get more supplies to try out the projects you have in mind.
