I haven't actually had a zelda game before. The only one I know of right now is Zelda Spirit Tracks. Should I get Zelda Spirit Tracks or some other zelda game? What is the best zelda game today?

zelda has always had great rpgs well i hav only played like a couple ocarina of time and twilight princess

ive barely played any but twilight princess is awsm and and i might get spirit tracks

Spirit Tracks is fun. ^^ But the puzzles are more challenging, comparing it to Phantom hourglass, another great game!! 3nodding

Get Zelda Phantom Hourglass! I have it, I finished it, it's so amazing! You have to get Phantom hourglass first because this one connects to spirit tracks and they have a couple of hourglass references in spirit tracks that you won't understand, so get hourglass first then spirit tracks. Wise choice. heart

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is probably myu favorite Zelda game.

I own spirit tracks as well, and it ain't bad at all. You can also never go wrong with the N64 classics (Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask), as well with Twilight Princess smile

If you are looking for a great story line with hard temples and tricky bosses, I suggest getting LoZ Ocarina of Time. They have it for the Nin 64 along with gamecube. If you want a challenge, then buy ocarina of time Master Quest. It is the same game, but harder, plus you get the original too.
If you are looking for a newer game, Then I suggest buying Twilight Princess. It is a great game with a big big heart touching (for some) story behind it. This game is unique because you actually turn into a wolf! I just think that is awesome. This game has it's tricky turns, but I found it to be generally staightforward. (that is after blowing my brains with Master Quest XD)
I havenot played the DS games myself, but I do know that they have the general set of the platformers I listed above. You know... get the sword... dungeons.. boss... more dungeous... save the day and Zelda, the END! except in Spirit tracks Zelda helps you... sorta...
All in all, Like metioned earlier, The new Zelda game is going to be coming out this year and it will be similar to Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess. I don't have much info onthis one except what nintendo power gives so I await patiently the releasing of the Game. I myself am waiting for that one but it is not due out until Christmas... if the release date isn't pushed back.
So in the mean time, get Ocarina of time Master Quest, then Twilight Princess... You will be satisfied, wanting to play them over and over again.

I've played alot of Zelda games and not one of them was bad at all...my favs r twilight princess 4 wii or spirit tracks 4 DS
