A small stuffy room with a few books shelves and dust covered books. A large oak desk sits before a heavily covered window and several black and brown leather chairs sit about a small fireplace. Circle end tables dot the floor, covered in lamps, statues and a few other odds and ends. The light is dim giving the room a smoky glare.

"No, no apologies are needed. I would feel the same. I am an unknow entity to you, you have every right to be defensive, especially of your comapion. Why shouldn't you be defensive of her?" Kriss smiled, eyes wandering over the mansion as he was lead through it. "This is a nice place you have here, I can imagine it would have been busy when the coven was all here" (yes, steam. I was runnign out of things to say, so my posts we getting shorter)

Cervan leads Kriss to the study and has to wait a moment for the sudden dust that rises into the air when the two large sliding doors open to settle. "If I remember, it was."
He moves to the window and pulls the curtains open and then lifts the window pane to let in some air and some dust out. "As impressive as this place is I imagine there are more secrets here then I can picture."
He shrugs. "I think Lucca is really hoping they'll return." he moves to the leather chairs around the fire where he kneels down to poke at the bad wood inside.

"Well, I can understand that. I hope for both of your sakes that they do return. Not much worse than two vampires living together over an extended period of time, even if they are companions." He sits in one of the chairs as the wood collapses under Cervan's touch, all rotten throughout and coughs as a cloud of dust lifts from the shair with the pressure he places on it. "Here let me" he says, flexing his fingers at the fireplace. There is a ripple of shadow, and in the grate appears a few 'fresh' logs, which burst into flame with a second gesture. "Much better" he comments, smiling

Cervan leans back, not having expected that. He looks at Kriss. "Lucca has not shown me much of her own powers, little things here and there but so far nothing as impressive as that." he stands up.
Keeping his back to the fire to warm it, he faces Kriss. "What do you mean 'nothing could be worse?' Is it so unnatural for two vampires to be together long?"

"My apologies, but that is not all that impressive by my accounts. I'm sure Lucca is capable of similar feats. And I said not much." He paused and rubbed his chin thoughtfully "It's just that from my experiences two vampires left alone ends up breaking down into primal instinct. Which means they either continuously fight until one is dead, or they couple with each other until childbirth. The introduction of a child breaks the monotony until the child is of age. All in all, it's still messy" He looked up at Cervan, hoping he at least partially understood

Cervan goes to say something but them stops. "I think I understand but I don't think Lucca and I have that problem." he pauses.
Before he can continue, he looks at the door where Lucca is standing. "Ah, you look splendid."
Lucca frowns at the room but enters anyway and sits in the large leather sofa next to Kriss. She almost has to climb into the chair and when she does sit, her feet don't even touch the floor. "These chairs are far to large." she mutters, looking like a small doll in a normal seat.
Cervan chuckles a little and adverts his eyes. Lucca looks at him. "Tea, Cervan. Please." As she says this a little table appears near the door with a white and blue tea set.
Cervan smiles and moves off to serve the tea.
"Thank you for waiting. I am sure Cervan kept you entertained." She smiles. "What, by the way, brings you here?"

Before Lucca has sat Kriss is on his feet, bowing deeply to her. "Milady, your beauty is only acentuated by your dress" He waited until she had finished speaking and sat again, smiling "Yes, Cervan did keep me entertained, or I him. As I said before, I am here on behalf of my Coven. The few of us remaining had heard rumors of your coven falling into obscurity, and then more recently of activity on the grounds. I, as the Elder for Britain, came to investigate"

Lucca turns her attention towards the window. A faint window blows in, shifting up a little dust and bringing in the faint smell of blood. The creatures had no problem turning on each other.
Cervan serves them both a hot cup of black tea and then stands behind Lucca's chair, sipping his own cup. Lucca looks back at Kriss.
"I see." she lifts the cup up gently to her lips. "As far as activity, other then the creatures outside, Cervan and I have really been the only ones to appear. There was one other but she seems to have disappeared."
Cervan shrugs, leaning back against the chair. He doesn't really seem to be listening himself.
"What did you intend once you got here?" Lucca asks, watching Kriss. "If you had found no activity or had arrived afterwards, what were you going to do?"

Kriss leant forwards, picking a glass of decanted blood off the floor from no-where and sipping at it carefully. "If i had found no activity, then I would have simply had to investigate. It's not very often that such a large coven falls out of notice so quickly, and I would have had to attempt to find out why your coven had done so. Since the two of you are here, I do not know what my next step should be. As Elder for Britain, I have the right to do as I please, but this is your home, so I prefer to defer to you" He leant back, still sipping his blood politely, watching her carefully

Cervan shifts a little against the back of the couch, but seems to keep his attention towards the window.
Lucca carefully sets the tea on her lap, glancing down at it before lifting her eyes to meet Kriss'. "It does spring forth many questions when a coven falls. And it does raise concerns amongst others." she pauses. "I had a feeling when I returned that if we were the only ones, other covens might have thought it a chance to take this place over and look for secrets. Trying to start something else here.
"I am glad that was ... is not your intention here. So I welcome you to stay if you would like. You would have full range of anything here and there are many rooms available on the second floor." she lifts the tea cup up to her lips and drinks it quietly. "You said your coven was small or falling. If there are others, they are welcome to stay here as well. Not necessarily to join this coven but a home is home."
Cervan frowns looking over his shoulder at Lucca.

Kriss nods. "I understand your concern, and thank-you for the offer, but we already have our own grounds. That was part of the rason I was here, i could not allow your covens secrets to be exploited by anyone. I shall accept your offer of a room though" He sips at his blood quietly before sitting up "I don't mean to seem rude but Cervan seemed to be amazed by what I consider a trifle. Do neither you or he exercise your powers?"

Lucca turns her gaze to Cervan. "I have not seen the need." she answers honestly, shifting to stare at the cup in her hands as though bored of it. "If a job can be done without the use of ones powers, then I will not use my powers."
Cervan shifts a little uncomfortably as Lucca speaks. "Shall we find you a room, Kriss?"

Kriss nods as she speaks "I see, but what of the thought that if you don't use your power, it diminishes? I have seen it happen before" He finishes the glass of blood and vanishes the cup, before turning to look at Cervan "Yes please, if Milady Lucca is finished with me."

"Cervan, show him to the second floor and have him pick out a room." Lucca sets her cup on the arm of the chair and turns her blue eyes towards the open window.
Cervan frowns but nods. "Come along. I'm pretty sure we can find you a good room." he shrugs. "Although it may be stuffy and full of dust; it'll still be a good room." He glances at Lucca and then heads over towards the door; setting his cup on the little tray table.
