The object of a word transformation puzzle is to change a given word to another by altering one letter at a time, each time forming a new word.
For example, changing DOG to CAT in 3 moves could be done this way:
dog, dot, cot, cat. Now try these:
East to West in 3 moves
Boy to Man in three moves
Hate to Love in three moves
Hard to Easy in four moves
Heat to Cold in four moves
Walk to Trot in eight moves
Silk to Rags in five moves
Dust to Wash in four moves
Take to Jail in four moves
Slow to Fast in six moves
