Okay, I'm going to make it up to you guys because I'm sick of a small handful of people who sit on their asses and never post, let alone actually try to get any meet-ups happening, trying to tell me what to do with my guild.
The sister guild was originally 21+ because I figured a lot of locals would like to go to places that require you to be twenty-one or over, even if no one's actually falling off bar stools. But, only nine people joined and everyone except for one person hasn't done a damned thing in it; at the same time I've heard a few people express a concern about hanging out with people who are in their early teens or from younger people feeling uncomfortable around older people, so I thought maybe make the sister guild ... well, that's the problem, I don't know what the minimum age should be.
I do know that there at least was around twenty active users out of a hundred members in this guild, and that there's only one active member out of ten in the other. I personally think the minimum should be between sixteen and eighteen, since that was about the time I started wanting to hang out with people my age or older.
So, you decide, and if the handful of others in the sister guild don't like it they can go form their own ******** guild. Pleasing everyone is just a futile exercise, and I tried and am now resigned to pissing some people off. Too bad for them.

I thought that the whole point of having 21+ was so that we could go to bars and stuff. confused

A fair number of people between sixteen and twenty don't want to hang out with people who are thirteen and fourteen. Also, a lot of people thirteen and fourteen, even fifteen, are leery of hanging out with people who are over eighteen and even more so with those over twenty-one.
Problem #2
Hardly anyone over twenty-one has even joined the sister guild, making it effectively useless. It seems about one out of ten members actually goes to meet-ups and participates in the forums. With a guild consisting of even twice as many — twenty members — how often do you see a meet-up between two people happening?
Easy Solution
Anyone twenty-one or older can get together with people the same age and go drink. So, what's the deal? I think the problem of age differences between those in their early teens and those in their late teens or early adulthood is more significant for more people than whatever misgivings mere handful of people of legal drinking age have with a guild that includes people younger than then.
Think about it. I see no flaw in my logic.

Well I think you moved too fast. The reason I haven't gone to any of the meet-ups is because I've been busy with stuff like work and my finals. But now I'm on Spring Break. And with this up-and-coming schedule I actually have a few days off.

I've decided that the guild will officially be 18+ but people who are seventeen and can carry themselves with the regal bearing of their legal peers a few months older than them will be allowed in.
