 Corridors of Darkness
The Corridors of Darkness are unpredictable pathways that interlink the worlds of the Kingdom Hearts universe. The Heartless use these extensively to reach other worlds, as do members of Organization XIII, their subordinate Nobodies, and many other characters. These pathways are formed out of Darkness, so it is unsafe for a normal person to travel them, because the constant use of these corridors would corrupt one's heart. However, the Heartless and the Nobodies don't have to worry about this, since the Heartless already have corrupted hearts, and the Nobodies do not have hearts to corrupt. However, one upside to this is that it provides a faster means of travel than the Gummi Ships.

A small girl walked down the corriders, looking deceptively like she didn't belong there. Closer inspection revealed she indeed did. Serena was simply a twelve year old girl, at least, that was her age when she was still a human, but her eyes filled with a void that revealed her nature as a heartless. She curiously looked at the dark portals, wondering if she should really try using one. She hummed tunelessly as she adjusted her collar around her neck.

The void closed behind her as Maze walked fully out. She didn't look anywhere but forward. The corridors had never once been a cause for amazement. The heartless continued her walk forward, not truly knowing what her next destination would be, and not truly caring.
Then sudden a cause for wonder appeared, not like she felt that wonder. No matter. This 'wonder' was a lone girl humming along as she traveled the dark hall. The Queen could tell that this was not a human girl, nor a nobody. It was another heartless. "Girl," Maze's even honey voice echoed the halls, "What is your name?" The heartless ice queen came to a stop not too close but certainly not far from her. The black ice crown still perched on a tilt upon her vibrant hair.』┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉ Heartless. The girl thought about where to go, wanting to spend a bit of time maybe finding a few people to scare. To 'play' with, as she would say. Serena stopped, turning to see whom she recognized as Maze, the queen of the heartless. Though, she'd never met the heartless before. She nodded a bow to Maze, more of her incredibly odd child behavior showing through. "Serena Star, your majesty." She said with a mischievious grin she carried with her all the time. "I was merely looking for a location to wittle away a bit of time." She told the other heartless.

So she made no comment to the title or the action. "You find yourself in good company, Serena." Maze folded her arms together, "I too am looking for my next destination. The name of it I do not know yet."
The Queen took a few more steps and passed the girl. She looked over her shoulder as she halted and spoke again, "I am Maze. It seems you already know of my title. Would you like to join me in my travels, Serena?" Maze felt it was her duty to get to know those of lesser rank.

Serena tilted her head curiously at Maze, then grinned and nodded. Seemed to her like the Queen was as without immediate plan for now as Serena was. "If you don't mind, I would be glad to accompany the Queen." She said, following the Queen, not too close, nad looking around again.

"Tell me," Her voice was one of the only sounds that seemed to come from her, along with the clicking of her heels. Her dress made no noise as it swished in rythem to her movements. "What are your powers?" Maze wanted to know if she could inncorperate this girl into her plan for mayhem.
Her eyes shifted over to watch the girl and take in note of her features. She was truly, a child. Which could easily decieve a foolish eye. Like a venus fly trap. Draw in near then snap the vice shut on the squirming body. That all is if the girl could be a good actress, and if there ever was a true singular target.』 ┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉ Heartless. Serena looked arounda bit before hearing the Queen address her again. She looked up at the back of her head and thought about it. "If I had any really special powers, I haven't discovered them yet...but I found I can make myself stronger in a fight by changing my form into a beast..." Her fingerautomatically went to the collar around her neck. "And if I think hard about it...Slave, my collar, hides my identity so it's even harder to tell what I really am." She grinned. Aside from her personality hiding her almost sadistic sense of 'play,' her looks were only further deceiving by her special collar. "It's fun, messing with the humans when they think I'm just some lonely little girl." She held her hands behind her back as she walked behind the Queen.

Maze looked forward as she strode at even pace. No emotion crossed her features. Her hands remained folded to her chest. The queen was already picking up on her personality. Manipulative, yet not in the sense of Cid. The Heartless King had a meaning for everything in that twisted brain of his. He was master of puppets, and even had his queen on the strings. Serena was manipulative in the way of deception.
"What world shall we cause mayhem in?" Her words weren't really directed towards Serena, but if the girl gave an opinnion it would be welcomed. Maze's glowing blue eyes scanned a row of portals as they passed. "We'll try this one." The portals were unpredictable so the destination would be unknown. Maze stopped in front of a portal and looked to Serena.

((I suppose one with people in it, XD...um, somewhere in Twilight Town? Seems pretty good...bound to find a human there...)) Serena grinned at what the Queen said. "Well, if I meet people who can't keep up with my games, how else am I going to teach them a lesson?" She shrugged and giggled a bit. She looked at the portal they stopepd at, curiously looking into it as if she could see their destination. Of course, she couldnt be clear, and she couldn't see it anyway, so she was really just pointlessly staring at it. "I hope it's Twilight Town...I've always wanted to go there. All sorts of fun wanderers to play with."

The Queen nodded at Serena, "They all need to be taught a lesson. And unfortunately our lessons may very well end their pityful exsistance." Maze had a very low oppinion for humans. All because of what she had observed. Their weakness was their wild uncontrollable emotions. She had once been that way. Before she had become a heartless Maze had been one of the most wild creatures to touch this plane of exsistance. And now with her icey deamonour she was, in her eyes, perfect. With out another word Maze stepped into the portal.

((I'm not sure where in Twilight Town though...I'll let you post there first)) Serena nodded to the Queen, smirking a little bit. She did like hearing the idea of teaching humans who are far too curious a lesson. No one seemed to knwo the dangers of curiosity better than Serena, the heartless with a demeanor of a innocent playful child. She didn't remember much about becoming a heartless or beign human at all, but she remembered enough to know it was being too curious that led her to her fate. Now she used it in humans to her advantage. Maze had stepped into the portal, and Serena followed her afterwards.

Akichou walked calmly through the corridors, watching the darkness as it guided a path to another world. She cared not where she would end up, she simply wanted to find what she wanted in whatever places she could. Reaching an end to the corridor, the darkness opened to reveal the next world she would land on: Agrabah.

  "He's so dumb..." Serah spoke as her footsteps echoed through the vast darkness of this realm. It wasn't truly dark as others could be seen if they were here. But the fact that there was no light to be heard of, even when all those about were clearly seen, was good enough reason for the name. Though Serah was not here for any idle reason, she was here for an exact purpose. See, within the realm of Darkness several people stored personal possessions. The one she was looking for, of course, was a rose held within a special glass case. A rose Vanity had stolen from Beast and used as leverage to take over Beast's castle. A rose that was stored somewhere within the vast expanses of the Realm of Darkness. Though the Rose held a great amount of light within it. It alone having the power to break an incredibly powerful spell placed upon Beast and all of his castle. Making it easier to find, but even within this land Light did not stick out so easily.
So she continued to walk idly down the vast darkness, inbetween whatever horrid beasts may come her way. Paying them no mind as she marched onward. The echo of her footsteps growing accustomed to her now. Such a comforting darkness for such a vibrant woman. Her pink hair seeming to force the black of naught away with every sway of its strands. What could she have been thinking, walking through such an area as this? To find something that seemed so insignificant. Of course she had a purpose. And no it was not to give it back to Beast. For what Vanity was doing did help her on some level. Through forming Beast into a heartless, she to would gain a Nobody. A Nobody of Beast, oh what sweet power his voice would hold once his evil embrace gave in to nothing. "Doth mine eyes deceive me..."
There in the distance of the blackest of all realms. She could see the faint glow emitted from something. What it was, was far to obscured from her distance. But she could tell that it was what she hoped for. The very thing Vanity stored within the Realm of Darkness rather than keeping it with him at all times. The lovely rose that held the Beast's grip on reality. Nothing cared more to the man beast then this one little thing. Though she did not hasten her strides, she continued as she had done so the entire time. Taking her precious time through the dark realm, as the glow grew stronger as she got closer. The glisten of an everlasting dew still present upon the petals. Most still upon the frail frame of the flower, a few scattered about the bottom of the case. A green stem adorned with thorns, their tips brown with age. This rose was truly an item for envy. How its beauty shown better with every second that passed through time. She could see it in her grasp, it was hers now. Seeing it clearly for what it was.
Her tongue slid across her lips softly, mouth savoring the taste of victory. She probably wouldn't be stupid enough to store it within the Realm of Darkness though. At least not without protection from someone powerful. Or something. Her hands clutched about the glass case that held the rose. Lifting it case and all from the spot in which it rested. A smile apparent about her lips, she was excited. Or at least what appeared to be excited as she cupped the case tighter. There goes vanity's hold on Beast, but it probably wouldn't matter much. This would just take away what power Vanity had gained. She'd have to keep the little heartless weak if she wanted to control him. So taking away what he has gained would be the best course of action for now. A bright flash creeping over her body before being swallowed by Darkness. She was gone now, having what she wanted. Now to go and see Vanity, sweet sweet Vanity...
