A little about yourself: *waves* 'm Cat, I'm generally fairly nice (though I go berserk under certain circumstances), I like reading, writing, drawing, math, science, and linguistics, I have four cats and a snake.. can't really think of anything else.
I'm interested in doing these kinds of RPs: Fantasy, maybe some sci-fi (though most of the characters I have are fantasy-based)
What I may do with a little cajoling: Don't really know yet
I won't RP in anything like these: Romance. Anything with romance.
My literacy level is about: I'm fairly literate? I read a lot, and my grammar's okay.
I try to post this often per week: Depends on what's happening in my life, but I'll try for at least once a week (more if I'm in an RP).

Personality: Surly, scowls a lot, doesn't make friends easily. Almost no sense of humor.
Class or Job (if applicable): None really, except working here
Skills: She's part demon. She has low-to-medium control over fire and shadow normally, but if she's really scared or angry she goes semi-crazy, defaults to the fire, and begins burning things. Luckily, very little scares her and while she gets irritated a lot, there's little that can make her angry enough to go psycho (it's only happened once). She can also sprout three-inch black claws and a pair of black wings at will, though it happens involuntarily if she goes crazy.
Weapon(s) (if applicable): She prefers not to go hand to hand, but if she does, she usually uses claws.
History: Very unpleasant.

Age: 14
Personality: Kind of smug, and somewhat reliant on her luck (see Skills) when she fights. If she didn't have it, she'd probably get pwned: she knows basic self defense and strikes, but has no fighting skills other than that. Anyway. Likes being in control.
Class or Job (if applicable): None
Skills: She has incredibly good luck. It isn't magic and it's not deliberate; it's just an effect. Attacks miss more, dice roll the right numbers, tracking spells fall prey to random flukes, etc.
Weapon(s) (if applicable): Carries a smallish sword, but it not very good with it.
History: Stuff happened. She turned up here.

Personality: Not brave; has a tendency to bail out of a situation if it gets too dangerous.
Class or Job (if applicable): None, really
Skills: She can create pain in people. That is, if she's standing a certain distance away from them, she can basically manipulate their nerves to make them feel pain when they're not.
Weapon(s) (if applicable): Anything about works, but really she prefers just to knock people out with pain
History: Unimportant, and also in the process of being written

Skills: He "crashes" nearly anything magical he touches, although he's gotten better at controlling it. It only works on things made by magic if they're still connected to their source of energy, and people if they have temporary effects on them; he can't destroy an older magical object (though he can remove any enchantment on it) and he can't strip people of their powers.
Weapon(s) (if applicable): Whatever's around. Really. He stopped Kay with a fork once.
