The Ilex Forest is a dense forest located in southern Johto, directly west of Azalea Town. The forest's trees are so close together that all light is blocked out, and the forest seems to be in a perpetual night. There is no tall grass, but wild Pokemon lurk around every corner, so beware! In order to get through the forest to the other side, you are going to need to HM move Cut in order to cut down small trees that block your path.
