Personality: Dimitri s quite serious and, while he tends to err on the side of logic outwardly, his decisions are often driven by his emotions and his own strict moral code. Due to this, he often justifies his actions by the fact that they are what he feels is just--whether or not the majority agrees with him. He is stubborn and remote but has a surprisingly gentle side as well and tends to be a bit eccentric.
Short background/history: Dimitri was raised eldest son of a noble family. Though he was generally a serious, dutiful lad, he tended to develop interests in odd things, eventually becoming quite curious about the elens of Archaea Gaea. This interest stayed with him into many years and when he was a bit older, he managed to sneak away to see them for himself.
He was somewhat amazed and enchanted by the Elens' home as it was so very different from his own and managed to meet and become attracted to a young sky pirate. They were together a short time before he felt the pull of responsibility and need to return home--at least for a time. He promised he would return to her and left, not knowing she was carrying his child. By the time he returned, more than ten years later, the pirate had died and their child was beyond his ability to find. The situation between Elens and Auldelens had grown steadily worse, making it difficult for him to stay so he returned home again, determined to make changes in his government that would promote a more peaceful coexistence between the two races.

One of his goals is to locate his child and when he can get rumors of Archea Gaea, he tries to get news of any pirate or anyone who could be his daughter.
