A I U E O are the vowels. The way that I remember the Japanese alphabet is remembering this: kstnhmyrwn, and this is why.

For the r's in Japanese you do not pronounce them as r as in rabbit. In Japanese the r's kinda sound like an L, for example La Li Lu Le Lo.
