Memory's Skyscraper Memory's Skyscraper is a tall building in the World That Never Was. Located near the Castle That Never Was, the building kept watch over the residents of the dark. On its front, there is a massive television screen that seems to flash images of memories of those nearby. Roxas was battling a legion of Neoshadows when Riku appeared at the top of the building, and when the two began their duel. After arriving at the World That Never Was, Sora was confronted by Roxas at Memory's Skyscraper, while 2 Samurai blocked Donald and Goofy. Sora and Roxas soon disappeared to the Station of Awakening, but Donald and Goofy claimed to not see Roxas. During his battle with Xemnas, Sora was pulled into an area that included Memory's Skyscraper, called Memory's Contortion, in a battle similar to the one Roxas and Riku had.

Israel stood at skyscrapper watching the larger screen. Memories, ones that he hadnt even known he had, were displayed on the screen. Not long scenes but quick snap shots. He didnt understand what was going on but we couldnt look away. He felt an aching where his heart would have been when it flashed picture of him and his mother. She was beautiful but for some reason he could never remember what she looked like. He felt as if the gods had decided the best punishement for whatever sin he had commited was to make him loose his memory. Tears brimmed and he had to look away. Where had his life gone. All those years, gone. Forever. Israel sat down and stared in the other direction even as his life played on the screen behind. reaching in his pocket he pulled out a small gem. Its purple hue was mesmerizing and he held it up to the dark skies. Where it had come from, he had no clue. But it meant something to him. Putting the gem away, he stood. "I'll find out for sure. I swear".

A dark void opened up infront of israel and he walked through it. Time to find something to do.

From a single point in the night sky, darkness expanded and grew. It enlarged until it was a doorway through which passage was possible. A corridor of darkness. Once fully formed, Israel walked through holding Rose's hand. They walked onto a platform at looked upon the large skyscraper. The screen was dark now but when they appeared, it lit up. He looked from the screen to her and smiled lightly as he lifted his hand to point at it. "Watch." The screen would proceed to light up and flash snap shots of his past. Not ones he couldnt remember but since he'd awoken as as nobody. The world that never was, the experiences he'd had with other nobodies. Quick shots from random times in his past played.

Rei looked up and stared as the images flashed across the screen of his memories. She said nothing, showed nothing, just watching the images and videos. She'd never been by the memory skyscraper, but it was what she expected it to be. "Why are you showing these to me?" She asked without looking away from the screen.

He abesently squeezed her hand when a shot of him and the rest of the organization appeared. As different as they seemed from all the other races, they were still like a family. Hearing her question, he thoought for a moment. "Im not completely sure but i felt that maybe you'd feel more comfortable telling me more about you when you know more about me." Letting go of her hand, he knelt down and felt around the ground for a minute, looking for something. When his fingers found a panel and pushed down, gears clicked and churned until a bench pushed up from the ground. It was old style, gothic in its feel. He took a seat, putting his arms up, and then patted the spot next to him.

Rei sat down next to him without a sound, not even from her clothes. "My real name is no longer used. It's long been dead to me. Now I am addressed as Rei." She said, giving up her information on her alias. "But I am not like you, nor like any human or heartless. I am an unverse. What makes you think there is much of a story to be heard from me?" She said cooly, staring at him.

Israel's gaze left the screen and landed on her eyes. As cold as he may have seemed, his eyes teemed with warmth as if they held the power of the sun behind them. "Everyone has a story, whether its long or short, interesting or not. You may find your own story to be bland or not worth telling while others may be dying to hear. Besides, we are all connected." Lifting up his right hand, he demonstrated with his fingers. "Though each finger is individual and can act independently of the others, they are all appart of the same hand. They have their own specific names to more accurately describe them. Index, middle, ring, etc. But that doesnt change that they are still fingers." Returning his gaze to the screen he added, "And i would prefer to call you Rose if thats alright. Even if the name is dead to you, its still apart of who you are. If there was never once a Rose, then there would probably never be a Rei."
((again im sorry to keep you waiting sweetheart))

Rei stared at Israel fr a while, then blankly looked back at the screen. "You are an interesting individual. Not what I would expect from a normal nobody, but I do not believe I've ever run into any of this...organization that I've been seeing here." She said as she observed it. "I don't remember much that I've already chosen to forget. Mostly that I may have been born in such a happy town, but I was far from fitting into teh town before I realized what I truly was. The heartless and unverse appeared, and upon seeing the leader of the unverse, I felt drawn to them. Then I realized why that was." Her expression didn't change. "I've been this way ever since my discovery. Yet, I'd hate to live any other way."

Quite the contrary of what she assumed Israel would find her story, He actually found it intruiging. "Being a Nobody, i have lost my heart and therefore the memories that shape me. Who knows what i may be if i were to ever recover those memories, though i have despised that thought since its appearance." he said a bit wistfully as his line of sight wandered back to the screen. "I remeber finding myself in some town. It's name i do not recall but it was breath taking. I had friends, a perfect life it seemed, but i kept hearing voices. They scolded me for every act of good i commited, telling me things like 'You dont belong' and 'This will all be over soon'. Then...It did end." His eyes grew dark with recollection of the memories of that day. "Time seemed to cease for everything but me. I, however, was not frightened because i had come to expect them to appear. Even if they had come in a rain of ash and fire, i would have expected no less. A single figure in a cloak appeared, hooded so i could not see his face. I was prepared for anything in that moment when the figure approached me but he did not strike. Instead he touched his index finger to my forehead and i cant remember much after that. I awoke up to find myself here being treated as if i had been here my whole life and was on vacation for a little while. It was like a home away from home. I had questions, oh yes many questions but it felt as if i simply belonged here. So i stayed." His ending was simple as he looked back to the screen and it shut off. He stood up and stretched a bit. He supposed for two people like them, this dark and ominous setting would be much more likeable which was why he brought her here. Looking back at her, he offered his hand. It no longer felt strange to hold her hand, in fact he found that it felt stranger if he were not. "I dont know about you sweetheart but i've been feeling a bit lazy as of late and i've been itching for a fight. Care to accompany and rouse up some trouble?"

She listened to his story without a word. Many wouldn't believe was she was really listening, but then they wouldn't be the brightest of people, or have a deep enough understanding to get that she really was listening intently. Rei stared at this hand for a minute, then accepted it with no show of reaction on her face. Somewhere inside, she liked the mention of causing trouble. "I've had a smiliar problem, you see, so I suppose I can spare some time for that."

Aequitas stood there a top the tower his eyes staring up at The Castle the Never Was his memories being broad casted onto the screens of the sky scraper each memory useless on its own but together making up what was Aequitas a Keyblade Master and once a user of Darkness. Aequitas paid no heed to the memories floating on the screen they were all in his head every single one of them and he did not need some half a** tower to show them to him. All of the sudden he leaped off the Sky Scraper as all of the sudden a Twilight appeared from behind it. He fell through the air multiple thorn like threads flying at him from every direction as the Twilight Thorn attacked, Aequitas effortlessly dodged each and every one of them and in seconds he landed on the ground which was no almost completely covered in Paladin Nobodies [x]
The moment he landed they converged onto him their blades drawn going into an all out attack, this caused Aequitas to summon his key blade Levitas Eclipse and in the next few moments he was blocking, parrying, and attacking so fast his form was a blur and lightning came off his body shocking any who came to close, these Nobodies were strong and high ranking but compared to a Key Blade master like Aequitas they were nothing, and as the last Paladin fell the Twilight Thorn landed behind him, almost dwarfing the tower such was it size.
But it was quickly struck down by hundreds of lightning bolts at like the rest of its brethren it faded back into the darkness which it was born from."As Darkness falls so does light a balance must be kept to keep at bay the plight."Aequitas spoke these words as he made his way to the Castle his mission simple balance the power as of late Darkness had risen a bit to much and now it was time to put them back where they belong.

Solemn echoes reside din every footstep she took. The darkness opening a warped portal for her to exit from. The swirl of black and purple hues barely shown in the darkness of the area. But it did show and the sound from a woman walking through the darkness was heard as well. The first thing to emerge from the portal was s single white boot laced all the way up to her knee. Her leg following shortly after. As her second leg came into view she began to pull her entire body out at once. Hair as pink as cherry blossoms, though her eyes could not be seen. She had them closed as she exited the portal. Only opening them once the portal had subsided allowing her full figure to stand there. Her eyelids slid slowly open giving sight to the amber orbs that held a perfect frame about her face. Smiling shyly at the man before her who had been so kind as to attack the Nobodies who resided here to help protect the Castle.
"What's cookin, good lookin?" She questioned with a bubbly disposition. Her arms cupping under her breasts. Each hand gripping onto the elbow of its opposite arm. Her head tilting ever the slightest towards her right to add a sense of cuteness to her question. It seemed the way she behaved before was more or less how she really acted. Just the memories of herself had long since faded. Pleased to know that she was not a complete and utter fake she smiled a bit wider. Baring a few teeth for the man to see. Was she attracted to him? perhaps, she was with many men, but her question was targeted more in a condescending way. To portray that she was not afraid of hi in the least, despite his brutish display of power. Keyblade Masters made her laugh, they claim themselves just but they use that as an excuse to attack what they don't understand. It was not that she had done anything wrong, or that any creature that resided in this world did anything wrong. It was the fact they were capable of wrong.

Aequitas stopped and slowly turned around to face the Nobody that had appeared from the darkness, his expression was one of sadness the job at hand now one he did not like Nobodies may have no heart or no existence but they had memories they could remember how to feel and that still made them actual beings despite their lack of existence and when you destroyed a nobody the ceased to existence unlike heartless who simply join with Kingdom Hearts a much better fate than what befell nobodies. Aequitas listened the words the new comer had said and noticed the fact that she was not afraid of him and he honestly didn't care, he also knew that most heartless and nobodies had pretty much the same opinion about Keyblade masters and Aequitas wouldn't say they were wrong there were Keyblade Masters, and Wielders like that who merely flaunted their power as a way to gain more and attack heartless and nobodies for the mere pleasure of showing off their power, but Aequitas was not like that he only did what he was doing now because the balance of all the worlds depended on such actions Light could not survive with out darkness and darkness could not survive without light so their much be balance so that chaos does not devour all the worlds.
"I am merely protecting the balance sadly to say Darkness and Nothing have been rising to high and the balance is threated so I have the sad task of balancing it out once again."Aequitas said with a sigh , knowing full well what he was going to have to do this Girl, and it made him sad she may be one with no existence but she was still someone she had memories she could remember how to feel even if they weren't true they were still real."If the balance wasn't in danger maybe we could have been friends."His words rang true in his voice as he started taking a step forward and than another till he was a only six feet away from the Girl. His stance telling her he was ready to attack or defend at a moments notice.

Serah lay motionless as the man spoke, the balance was in trouble. Darkness and nothing were getting to powerful. Perhaps because he was joining Darkness and Nothing together rather than seeing them as completely separate entities. Which was what they were. Nothing was ever black and white, there was always that unique shade of gray. That was what a Nobody was, and that was what Serah was. Like she thought, another Keyblade Master flaunting his ability with some lie of an excuse. Oh well, if he wanted a fight she would give him one. Responding to his first statement with naught but a giggle. That was as much as she thought it was worth, giving the second the same eager chuckle of her voice. She was not going to be intimidated by a few pretty words, and his false sense of Justice. He was always going to believe himself right so discussing it with him was a waste. She hadn't seen herself as a Nobody in quite a while, this should be fun.
As he began his approach Serah herself began to talk slow strides towards him. Walking slowly in a taunting manner, as if daring him to attack. If he was here for a fight then he should attack. A keyblade was not for threats, and threats were not for the good. If he was truly good he should have begun by now, after all...Serah had. "Come on, show me what ya got!!" As she finished speaking portals began to open about the ground revealing a field full of Dusk. The lowest and most common of all Nobodies. She stopped her walk as she began to be drowned by the Sea of Nobodies around her. She knew it would be easy after how he had discarded the immense Nobody as well as the Paladin's with very little ease. This, of course, was a distraction. Hiding herself within the darkness of the portals. She would wait until he wiped the field clean of the Nobodies before she vanished. Aiming a heel kick for the back of his head. Catching him while he's distracted.
