 The Borough, which seems to be a residential area and where Merlin's House is located. It's also the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee's base of operations and leads to the world 100 Acre Wood. If you continue, you will come across the Bailey, after walking through the streets fighting some heartless,and climbing up some stairs.

A young man with spiky black hair began to walk through the Borough's streets with a sword slung over his shoulder. He had an odd kind of grin on face, something that said he wasn't happy... but he wasn't sad either. It was just another normal day in the Radiant Garden's, though he preferred when it was called Hollow Bastion the name sounded much cooler. He had a sudden taste for some ice cream for some reason, the flavor was what he couldn't quite put his tongue on. He knew he wanted something delicious, but he just couldn't tell what. "Gah, so frustrating. I want something sweet." He fumed to himself while hearing his stomach growl slightly. The sun was extremely bright for some reason, or that might have been an after effect of having extremely acute eyes like his. Finally getting frustrated to the point where he couldn't stand to walk he stopped in place for a moment. Taking the long sword off his shoulder he gave it a twirl before impaling it into the concrete ground. It was an odd weapon, ornately designed with skulls and silver. But what stuck out the most were the sides of the sword's blade. They were bright and reflective almost like glass, it was very peculiar to say the least.
"Now let's see here we've got Strawberry, Vanilla, Chocolate, Mint... and nothing I'd want to eat!" He said scratching his head a bit. 100 flavors and nothing to eat, how ironic he thought before shifting his eyes into the sky. His vision was obscured by equipment, how things had changed since they began this whole reconstruction ordeal. It didn't really suit his taste, he missed the twisting towers. Just what the hell was going on? He yanked his decorative sword out of the ground and headed for the market place. He had a taste for Sea-Salt ice cream.

----- Serah would come to the Burough to see it still untainted by the summoning of Heartless. Lifting her arms above her head she rested them over her crown and smiled while looking back towards the stairs. "I hope they don't get hurt...oh well." She shrugged as her arms lowered and she slowly began to skate through the streets. She could have jumped to the upper extremities but this was a lot more lax. It was then she would come to the branch that lead to Merlin's house. She hadn't been passed this section in a while, having always taken the longer route. "hmm...I wonder if he knows.." She skated over to the three stairs that lead to the platform before Merlin's door and took a seat. Thinking about Stryder and Suna. "They'll be fine..."

Skye followed Serah to the very house of Merlin. She turned the knob slowly and looked around. There Serah was sitting down, thinking. The girl stepped in, trying not to make a sound, and trying not to disrupt the thinker. Skye tapped her shoes and her wheels popped back in them. The girl flipped her hair out of her eyes and there was a slight crack. Skye looked down and saw a loose plank. She took a gulp and turned around, hoping Serah wouldn't notice.

-----"Hey, who are you?" Serah spoke after watching Skye fumble around the house for several seconds. A smile crossing her lips as she spoke. "Didn't I see you in the marketplace?" As she spoke she rose to her feet and slid over to Skye. Stopping directly in front of her as a wheel skidded her to a stop.

"Uhm. The name is Skye!" she replied in a nervous, yet happy tone. The girl held out a hand to shake and noticed Serah's wheels. They looked very familiar, just like that boy Suna's. Skye looked at Serah with a smile on her face, looking at her features. Serah was barely taller than her, but they both looked the same age.

----- "Skye huh? That's a pretty name...ever think of going by Sora?" Serah joked while turning away and skatin towards a wall. Spinning on her heels before leaning against it, folding her arms across her chest before speaking once more. "What do you think of that guy Stryder? Pretty cute, huh?" She had seen the way Stryder noticed this girl when she first appeared. Did this girl share the same feelings, she had hoped to unveil this with the asking of a simple question.

Skye was amazed on how Serah twirled on her heels, even on skates. She asked a few questions but didn't think about those questions. Skye was too busy messing around to even think about boys. The girl dug her hands into her pockets and thought about Stryder for a second. "Yeah, He's Pretty Cute," she began thinking more about him, "Pretty Brave too, taking on that guy who had attacked 'the group'."

-----"Oh my god, you're like totally in love with him!" She jolted forward and stopped in front of Sky once more. Hands up in excitement as her smile seemed to take over half of her face. "He's like your own personal hero, huh?" She joked again, and even though she was joking she still had seriousness in her mind. This was all to see the extent to which the girl liked Stryder. It was already shown that he made her uneasy, signified by Sky tucking her hands into her pockets.

Skye scratched her head. "I guess so." she laughed. Serah looked very happy when Skye talked about Stryder. Weird. I guess its just how a typical girl would act when talking about boys. She remembered Suna talking about Serah earlier in the market. "So, you and Suna are good friends?"

----- The shyness of the girl was more than adorable, in many ways her shyness was like that of a boy's. Making it even cuter, she couldn't hold back a smile for even a second. "Me and Suna...we...know each other. If that's what you mean." Not really answering the question, more diverting it towards the side to get back on track with what was important to her. "You know Stryder has a one track mind." Placing her hand son her hips as she smirked and leaned forward. "You know he nearly burst into tears over an ice cream cone. It. Was. Adorable!" She spoke the last three words static of each other to add emphasis to each one. Clapping her hands rapidly as she ended her speech. "Do you want some ice cream? That's what I asked him. He stretched out his arm like a baby and I snatched it back. it was like his life ended. Over an ice cream cone. trestres adorable" She of course pronouncing adorable the french way rather than the English version.

The subjects of their conversations kept changing. From Suna, to Stryder, to ice cream. She seemed a bit disappointed when Serah didn't answer her question the way she wanted to, but she guessed it was okay. Skye smiled, she was happy to get to know another girl in awhile, since she was usually hanging out with her brothers. She laughed like she would with normal friends when Serah talked about Stryder almost bawling over ice cream. Skye found it a bit wierd with all the emphasis and clapping that Serah did. "Yep, Ice Cream's probably my fave food!" the girl giggled. She felt close enough to Serah to let go of the shyness she had when meeting a stranger.

Her laughter subsiding, Serah reduced her mouth to a slight grin. Before extending her right hand, curling in all the fingers save for her pinky. "friends?"

  XXXXXA dark void open up in the alley way as Cid exits out in full armor suit. "Is he causing trouble here of all places? The key bear here is nothing to even pay mind too, maybe this one will make a good tool out of." Cid said to himself, as he came to the streets looking around quickly behind his mask.
Taking note of those around him, even the too chatting of danger Cid paid it not mind as he steps out into the open. Though it only seem to not even cause a buzz, people made a note to surely walk around him. As if it were natural, or was it his killer's intention from a far. He then head towards the direction action took place, though he rather watch up top on a roof, and so he did just that....

Skye did the same. She seemed like she smiled alot, but now it was just a delighted grin. Their pinky's interlaced and the girl nodded. "Friends." She walked towards the door and turned to wait for Serah. "C'mon, I wanna get some ice cream!" Skye started pressing a button on her shoes, transforming them into skates like Serah's. "Maybe we'll even see Stryder kick that guy's butt." she joked.
