How did you get sucked into the starcraft universe? I want the full ******** truth here. Sincerity is a declaration that only the righteous make.

Does it matter! Or wait maybe it does that your mind is forfeit to actually tell me your story! I see, you have no story. There for, you have nothing to show! Speachless, like a dog that has lost it's tail!

Speachless, like a dog that has lost it's tail! I feel like...I should somewhat slap you for that weird remark :/..anyways when I was in cali about 13-12, possibly 11 years old, and my bro was having rich life, nice house, and his sons had this game called Starcraft..the cover of the zealot looked lovely..I asked how to play it...so they plugged it in and led me the keyboard..and when I touched the Terrans..UGH!! I felt awkward with them, feeling as if i didnt want them, the Protoss felt too..clunky to me..then..the Zergs...ahhh the Zergs..capable of slaughtering all with no mercy..and thats when I was hooked.

Nice! Now that's a good story. You must be on the 5th floor of this building, because everyone else is still in the basement and you; unlike everyone else, has a story to tell. To be honest I feel that the big brother thing is a very interesting way to get sucked into playing the game. But I was introduced by my brothers, but I was more frequently asked to join in the games. Because at the time we had like four computers in the house linked up. So you know... what the hell, why not! And then it just became addictive. I liked the protoss the most, because I love dark templars and dark archons.

You want a story? Back in '93 we bought a floppy disc demo of a game called Warcraft: Orcs VS Humans maybe it was '95, The game was like nothing before. At that time computers were no faster then a drunk lemming with a lame leg and an iron boot. We played the game until finally the real game came out and the computer at the time would not play it. However we upgraded like Terrans, Quickly until we saw the future, StarCraft. Starcraft was a rapid paced fast action combat strategy game, So we bought a copy then copied it and copied it and installed spawns until we had enough computers to run an armada. Everyone learned to play and play well. Those of us who were better played online those who weren't well too bad. So Lan party after Lan party we played until everyone moved away and we had to buy real copies of the game for each person to play online. In the end we all played until we saw what was to come, Warcraft3 but it sucked a** and then some so we went back to Starcraft and then we saw the future once more Starcraft2

With nine casting cost? And if you control no psionics nothing happens? And it only destroys tapped creatures?

And it should deal up to 15 damage, to creatures and destroys artifacts and or enchantments that have a casting cost less then 5.

Yeah that makes more sense, suspend 5 or 6, and deal 9 damage to target player and all creatures they control but you still have to have a psionic to cast it, as well as destroy all artifacts, enchanted and non basic lands that player controls

Wish my story was quite that... dramatic. for me, I was walking into my step-brother's room (he was hanging around for some break he had gotten.) We were hanging out, then suddenly he asked if I had heard of Starcraft. (I hadn't.) So he showed me a bunch of video's and I knew I had to play it. So he worked his techy magic, and within the hour I was playing. I tried every race, but no matter what the zergs just fit me. That's when it was over.

I can see where you and zerginfestor are coming from, no strategy just blood lust and carnage, its completely fine but remember that nothing survives a nuclear blast, so burrow all you want

Hmmmm.... my story would be as followed:
I am living in Germany right now and back when I started playing Starcraft for the first time I was already living in Germany but someplace else.
Back then my father was still living together with us. On one of the nights where he staid up late and played something on his computer I just couldn´t help but watch.
He told me it was called Starcraft. The first group I saw was the alien-like race known as "the Zerg". Right after seeing them, they started to build those wierd buildings on my heart. Back then I wasn´t able to forget them... not even once.
A year later, after my father left the house and also left us alone, he left behind the game StarCraft without knowing it. I than layed the disc in the hard drive and started playing.
Now guess what.... I was 6 years old back than and now I am 18. This means I first saw the game sometime after it was first released. biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin
