Guillotine Plaza (called Town Square in Kingdom Hearts II) is named after the deadly guillotine in the middle of the area. There is also a fountain full of green water and various ledges to climb on. In Kingdom Hearts II, the area takes on a slightly different appearance, the fountain now squirts water that deals damage if hit, the guillotine can come down on characters for damage if they pass beneath it, one of the gates (with presents behind it) deals damage if Sora and company come near it, and nearby grates spew poisonous gas. In both games, the Square links directly to Dr. Finkelstein's Lab.

"Not bad, not bad." Xilpolin arrived in the town square not to long ago, and was taking a walked around the area. Compared to the graveyard, this place was pretty nice. The light of the moon, and the few street lights around, really added a nice glow to the town. Creepy yes, but was nice none the less. It was hard to see all this with her hood on, so Xilpolin took off her hood to get a better look at the town. "Nice." Compared to the realm of darkness and the World that Never Was, this didn't quite match up, but each world was different. The gothic designs really interested her. It was a good thing she was able to mimic excitement and joy. Those were the first emotions that she wanted to remember, but they still didn't feel the same, but that was to be expected. Xilpolin turned to the fountain with the strange liquid inside, and walked up to the front of it and dipped her hand in. She was hopping that her hand would dissolve, grow and extra finger, or something like that, but it just seemed to be just some green water. "That's disappointing." Xilpolin knock the head on top of the fountain for fun, but was soon shot with a blast of that strange liquid. "Gya!" The force knocked her down on the ground. It didn't hurt, but it sure was annoying. Taking her sights away from the fountain, Xilpolin was now ready to head to another world. The whole reason she came to this world was to learn how to be scared again, but it looks like that failed. Xilpolin put her hood back on, and opened up a corridor of darkness in front of her. "Time to go." A few steps brought her through the gate and into the corridor of darkness.

"God you know you just have to love Halloween." Justin exclaimed as he stepped out of his portal. "Man that is the only way to travel." Justin shoved a near by pumpkin with his foot watching it roll right under the huge guillotine as it slammed down splitting the pumpkin in two. Justin lowered his hood and scratched his head as he walked over to the strangest looking fountain he had ever seen. "Bet they sure don't have anything like this in Traverse Town." He said with a certain voice mocking the popular town that everyone had seemed to love so much. Justin cupped his hands drawing water from the fountain and drank it. "Sure hope this crude don't kill me." as he took his sip he looked around and noticed the huge clock on what would seem the most important building in the towns square. "thirteen days till Halloween huh?" Justin started to chuckle, "Gee I wonder if the organization would wanna celebrate that?" Justin noticed a building with a giant dome shaped top and leaning off to one side. "Maybe I can get some clues in there couldn't hurt right?" He took his leave of the fountain and made his way to this strange building.
