Shin walked into the Treasure Room and looked around. The room was full of centuries of treasures, some of the gold statues where so large it looked like it would take 20 men just to move it inch by inch. On the other side of the room, on the wall hung an old tarnished sword. Shin walked through the room, kicking the small necklaces, bracelets and gold pieces out of the way, as he moved towards the odd sword. Once he made it to the sword, he looked around on the walls, as in ancient words it said, "To take the sword, a test you must face," but as Shin couldn't read ancient writing, he had no clue of the challenge ahead. He reached for the sword, and pulled it off the wall. It wasn't tarnished it was rusted. "I payed all that money to that informant, and all I get is a rusted piece of crap. Oh, someone is going to die." A second later, the entrance to the room closed, and a giant of a beast rose out of the floor. The beast was a Sphinx, one of Agrabah's most mythical beasts. It opened it's mouth, and spoke, but it's lips never moved. "I am the guardian of the Dragon's Song sword, who dares to wake me from my slumber?" Shin walked forward and spoke. "I am Shin Houja, Keyblade Master from Halloween Town." The sphinx replied back. "You Shin Houja, Keyblade Master from Halloween Town dare face the challenge of the sphinx?" With a puzzled look on his face, as he never heard of a sphinx protecting the sword replied. "Yes, I dare face the sphinx challenge." With that said the sphinx spoke. "My challange is three riddles, answer them correctly and you may leave, answer even one wrong, and you die." Seeing as he was already trapped in the room, he decided he would go with it. "Alright lets do this." The sphinx spoke. "What has cities, but no people, Forests, but no trees, and rivers but no water?" It took Shin awhile to think of an answer, but then he smiled. "It's a map." The sphinx replied. "Yes. Next riddle, are you ready? You can escape now, but you will have to leave the Dragon's Song weapon here." He had no choice. "Next question. If I say, 'Everything I tell you is a lie.' Is it the truth or a lie?" Shin laughed as he father used to tell him this riddle all the time. "It would be a lie. It can't be the truth without contradicting itself." The sphinx replied. "Correct, last riddle. What is broken every time it is spoken?" Shin opened his eyes wide as he had no clue, what the answer was, it was such an easy question, but it had many answers. "I'm sorry Sphinx, but Im not going to die here in this god forsaken cave. I'm guessing the answer is Silence." The sphinx roared, then spoke. "You are correct, but I can't let you leave with that weapon." The sphinx fired a beam of energy from it's mouth. Shin reacted quickly, and put the sword up in front of himself. The beam was deflected up and away from Shin. He looked at the sword awkwardly then noticed the rust came off, on the other side and was showing a black looking metal underneath. "This isn't rust, it was meant to protect the sword." Shin whacked the sword on the wall, and the rust on the outside of the sword crumbled off revealing a beautifully-crafted black sword. The sphinx prepared to attack again, but it was to late, Shin appeared in front of the Sphinx and with one swipe of the Dragon's Song sword he cleaved the sphinx's head clean off. "Finally you are here." Shin looked around, and noticed no one else in the room, then pointed at himself. The sphinx replied, "yes you. You shall become the Desert Wind, the legendary warrior of this ancient world." The sphinx head crumbled, and so did it's body. "I make my own destiny." Without a thought Shin snapped his fingers, and disappeared in a flash of light." He now had more power.
