Ok, so here are the rules:
The GM (Game Master, that's me.) posts a situation the players are in. The players then post their actions, according to the conditions GM sets. The GM then rolls for the actions' results, and writes them out in his post. Then the players post actions again, and that keeps going.
The action results are defined by a six-sided die roll:
[1]: Epic Fail. Your efforts only worsened your situation. Mostly hillarious
[2]: Fail. Your skills or luck were insufficient.
[3]: Meager success: The situation didn't improve by as much as you have intended.
[4]: Success: Your efforts were sufficient to achieve your goal.
[5]: Epic Success: Your skills and luck have combined to ensure your success.
[6]: Overshot: Your efforts were more than required for the goal's completion, and your luck is such that unfortunate side-effects are inevitable. Fun for you and everyone around you. split between bad/good. I roll dice to decide if its bad or good. 1-3 is bad, 4-6 is good.
I will be using Random.org for the dice rolls.
If at any time something threatens a player, that player may make a roll to avoid the threat.
By using a skill repeatedly, you will become more experianced, leading up to a +3 to the roll, failguard, and a title of 'Legendary X' where x is what the character is legendary in. This means no epic fails, but there are more overshoots.
There are other things that I'm forgetting, but whatever. The official motto of the game is "Losing is fun!" There is a lot of fun to be had.

There is no overarching goal, though there are several ways to end the game and "Win"
1Destroy the planet: Yes this is possible.
2 Become Immortal/a god: There are several ways to do this. I am not telling you any.
3 Become the Emperor of the planet: Rule with an iron fist or give every peasant a wagon of gold, i don't care
4:Fulfill an in-character goal.
5:Anything I deem worthy, like no more interest from the players.
This is a 'Fantasy' setting. Elves, Dwarves, Kobolds, Humans and Goblins are all in existence.

Skills:
when you do a suitably impressive task, you will gain a certain number of points. Every 4 points you get, you increase one skill level, and recieve either a bonus to dice rolls involving those skills, or a higher success rate. The skill levels are as follows:
Skill Level [Experience to next level]
Novice [X/04]
Competent [X/08]
Skilled [X/12]
Proficient [X/16]
Talented [X/20]
Adept [X/24]
Expert [X/28]
Professional [X/32]
Accomplished [X/36]
Great [X/40]

Shad walks into an empty room with a blood elf and a monster hunter. "What a dump." Being a prince he wasn't used to anything that didn't offer him service on the spot.

Blazing emerald eyes turned on the demon. The red head behind them sniffed in contempt and returned to her prior activity. Flipping through her spell book. She was bored here. They seemed to be waiting for something. With a heavy sigh she closed the book and slid it away before standing and wandering around aimlessly.

That is because you didn't let me setup the game before you started. My fault for not watching, really.

And no, Shadow, it isn't D&D. I forget the name of the game it's based on.

*clears throat* You begin in a middle-class rural area. You have nothing in your possessions but the underwear that oh-so-barely covers yourself. You are surrounded by confused locals, some are offended by how light you are dressed. Your first goal could be to get dressed.

7 turns until night.
