Part 2
Kunare kept a close eye on the robed figure. He didn't know why, but he felt a sense of evil protruding from this being's very essence. It was like the being was made out of raw evil. Kunare followed the figure as it made its next move. He stayed far enough behind that he would not be detected. The figure moved into an inn, and stayed there for a few minutes. As Kunare waited for the being to emerge, he began to wonder. What could this creature be? An agent of evil? I have to know... Suddenly, the figure emerged from the building. There was blood on its scythe, so Kunare drew his sword. "What are you?!" He yelled at the being. "I am that which your worst nightmares consist of." The being replied blankly. Kunare's eyes widened and he said, "Then you are an enemy of mine. Thou must be slain." He fully revealed his blade, a three foot blade of celestial bronze. The being said, "You really do not understand. You cannot defeat me at my own game. Not when I'm a Shadow Lord." The Shadow Lord drew his scythe, truly showing the blade of the scythe for what it was. Kunare's eyes widened yet again. He prepared to strike, but he was too slow. The Shadow Lord attacked once, bringing Kunare to his knees. The wound was a large slash across his chest, from his shoulder to his hip. "Let that be a warning. Next time you die." The Shadow Lord said coldly. He left quickly, leaving Kunare to himself.

Part 3
Kunare stared at the Shadow Lord as he disappeared. How had he been defeated so easily? He hadn't even hit the Shadow Lord, let alone hurt him. So how was he supposed to defeat something that powerful and swift? Kunare got up and quickly healed his wound, though he still had a scar from it. He knew it wouldn't be something that would go away easily. It would take some very complex incantations and a lot of energy to remove the scar. "Now I have someone else's blood in me. This is great." He mumbled to himself. Kunare began walking to his hut, where Esan, Kikyo, and Becca waited for him. He knew he would have to tell them, so he began to prepare the story.

"That thing did WHAT?!" Becca exclaimed. He had told them the entire story, deciding it was best for them to know. Now he regretted the decision. Every one of them overreacted, all yelling at him. "Let us see the scar." Kikyo demanded. He opened up his shirt to reveal the large scar that went from his shoulder diagonal to his hip. "You realize that this wound could be cursed, which would make things even worse for you?" Becca asked. "I know, but I didn't have the energy to check if it was cursed or not. If you want to, go ahead." Kunare said. "Fine, I think I will." She replied curtly. Becca took off his shirt and began the process of checking and curing a curse, if one was present. She uttered a simple incantation and said, "You were very lucky. There is no curse in this wound. However, the wound itself is relatively deep. It will affect your abilities if not healed. Do you want me to heal it?" Kunare nodded and Becca began uttering a chain of complex incantations. Soon, the tissue underneath was completely healed, and the only evidence left was the scar. He told her he wanted to keep the scar. "I need evidence that I'm not invincible." He told her. She completely understood.

Meanwhile, Esan, and Kikyo snuck outside of the hut. "I'm worried about Kunare." Kikyo said to Esan. "I am too, but nothing we can do about himself getting hurt. It's not like we can follow him all of the time." Esan replied. The two of them began talking about what they could do to help Kunare. "What if the entire group traveled, then we could keep an eye out for him. Becca would like that too, I'm sure." Kikyo said. Esan nodded and walked inside. Kikyo quickly followed behind him. When she walked in, she heard Esan tell them about the idea. Every one of them agreed to the idea.

Haha, yeah. It's corny, but it's a decent phrase.

Yeah, I learned from your advice. That's why I asked you to delete my first thread. It had way too many mistakes. That, and I forgot to add myself as a character. xD
