So here it is. A place for Lost. The show that everyone I know gave up on. I have to say by season six it is getting a bit umm, how do i say this, packed? It just feels like the writers are trying too hard to be original and mind boggling. I got boggled a good while ago now unboggle me. *Sigh* I've followed it since the very first episode so I'll finish it. But am I the only one who thinks that the first few seasons were so much better?

The first seasons WERE better. One can arguably say that season 5 was where it all went wrong, and since that was the most confussing I guess I'll start unboggling there. In season 4 finale when Ben turned the wheel, he dislodged it. This wheel represented time, and one can arguably say that he was moving it to the future where it would be safe from Whitmore. The characters were sent through all different times in the islands history as the wheel randomly turned. Locke turned the wheel and it got back in order, and turning normally at the time of the Dharma inititive. The ones who left came back and some of them flashed into the time of the dharma initive with the others unexplainably. One can argue that it was because they were candidates. For the most of season 5 the aspect of changing the future works like it does in the teemenator- you can't change it, and youll probably just end up causing it by trying. But in the season finale Faraday porposes that they can change the future. In the origional timeline, dharma drilled too deep and uncovered a large amount of energy. This was nuetralized by the hatch (the button). Not pushing the button results in magnetic something or other. On the day that their plane crashed, Desmond did not push the button, and the magnetism crashed the plane. If this energy was to be nuetralized, the plane never would have crashed. Daniel Faraday- being the shows number one nerd- was beleived by everyone, so they got a bomb and tried to blow it up. Unfortunately, Fairaday died before he could tell them that he was just kidding, so they designated a nuclear bomb. Appearently this counteracted the energy, and they never landed on the island in the first place. Unfortunately, if this had happened then we would have no show, so they are still there. The actual reason for them still being there is the law of conservation of mass. This says that if you go back in time and kill your dad, you would still be there because the physical elements that make up your body are still there. But the plane never did land, and the world outside the island is what you see in the flash sideways's. One could also argue that it was because Jacob died, and never made them land on the island.
But maybe I just boggled you more, anyways I get it, there are still a lot of unanswered questions we all have, but I'm still a fan of the show. I acctually have a guild to Lost if anyone wants to join.
